Borough of Southend Swimming Club teaches, coaches and trains swimmers from the very young up to masters.

Our senior coach, William Brogan took over from Pam and Mike Higgs in September 2007. Pam and Mike had many years experience and had coached British, European, Commonwealth, World and Olympic swimmers including Mark Foster
, Sarah Hardcastle, Jackie Wilmott and Natalie Brown.

The club also has Masters, Open Water and Triathlete training

At the end of 2005, swimmers coached by Pam & Mike Higgs held 21 Essex Long course and 21 Essex Short Course Records

B.O.S.S. Swimmers consistently compete at County, District and National Level,

and under new coaching they look to build on this established pedigree
