Lockie Leonard Scumbuster is about a boy named Lockie and he loves surfing. He has a brother named Phillip and a sister named Blob and Phillip was always wetting his bed. One time when he went out to surf the wave had taken control of him and he fell on to the shore. then a bogan came up to him and Lockie hated bogans. The bogans name was Egg and Lockie and Egg became good friends. Along their journey Lockie met a girl at the beach named Dot who was two years younger than him. Lockie liked her. Towards the end of the book Lockie, Egg and Mr Eggleston (Egg's dad) were making a couple of kayaks. Lockie, Egg, Mr Eggleston, Mrs Eggleston (Egg's mum) and Vicki (Lockie's x girlfriend) all went out into the river were it stank the most. Mrs Eggleston welded the pipe were everything was coming out of. Dot left town and Egg was about to leave but he stayed.
