I was born in Muskegon, Michigan. I moved to California with my parents in 1964, I was 16 years old. After graduating from Simi Valley High School in 1966, I married and moved to the beautiful State of Washington. I lived there for 5 1/2 years. Then moved back to California for 30 years. Now I am in my beautiful State of Washington and hope I never have to leave.
I began writing children's stories in 1971. I took several creative writing classes in the local colleges and finally a correspondance course with the Institute of Children's Literature. My first poem "My Chasity" was published with the International Library of Poetry in 2005. And now my first short story "Sunday's Best" was published with Publish America this year March 2007. I am currently working on the sequel to Sunday's Best and hope to have this one done in 2008. I also submitted a children's story to Publish America called The Kitty who lived on a Hill. I am waiting to hear from them.
