Deja Dead -
Dr Temperance
Brennan's
anthropological
expertise is called
upon when the bones
of a woman are
discovered in an
abandoned monastery.
Tempe suspects that
a serial killer is at work,
but finds difficulty in
convincing the lead
Detective (Claudel)
that she's right about
the case.
She eventually
convinces him using
her knowledge and
contacts,but only
after the body count
has risen and the
lives of those closest
to her are endangered.
.
Death Du Jour -
Tempe's first case
is set in the chilly
Montreal, where she
must exhume the
skeletal remains
a nun proposed for
sainthood. Her
forensic expertise
is soon required for
another, more horrific
case: the death of a
young family in an
arson attack - with
no apparent witness,
motive or explanation.
The investigation soon
leads to a trail of
sinister cult activity,
culminating in nerve -
shattering events that
threaten both Tempe
& those around her.
.
Deadly Decisions -
Tempe is called
from teaching a class
in Quantico when
a biker war in
Quebec results in
two foot soldiers
blowing themselves
up. Like many, she
is unconcerned as to
what the bikers do
to each other, but is
angered to find that
a 9 year old girl was
killed in the biker
crossfire. Tempe
brings her forensic
expertise to the battle
against the outlaw
biker clubs, and
a second tragic
death is unearthed.
But as Tempe learns,
the bikers are a
dangerous group
to cross.
.
Fatal Voyage -
Tempe serves on the
North Carolina disaster
response team when a
plane crashes high
in the mountains.
She and her
colleagues examine
the remains
and identify victims,
but a severed foot
found well away from
the main crash site
arouses suspicion
for Tempe, and she
believes that another
corpse may lie in the
woods.A deserted
house found near the
foot increases her
suspicion, but further
investigation is halted
by the questioning
of her professionalism
and a vow of silence
from higher officials.
Despite this, Tempe
battles on to achieve
justice for her
mystery victim.
.
Grave Secrets -
In 1982, soldiers
entered the village of
Chupan Ya,
Guatemala, and
many individuals
were rounded up and
killed. Tempe journeys
to this village
to help examine a
possible mass grave.
In another case, four
girls from Guatemala
city go missing,
including the
daughter of a
government official;
and a young
archeologist is
murdered. A web
of intrigue soon
ensues as connections
occur between the
historical and
contemporary cases,
and Tempe realizes
that she could be
the next victim.

Bare Bones -
Tempe's prospects of a
well-earned vacation
are soon halted when
evidence starts to
appear that demands
her forensic expertise.
First, a newborn's
bones are discovered
in an oven, and the
mother is nowhere to
be found. Next, a
small plane crashes
and the victims
burn to death, beyond
recognition. Finally,
a mass of human and
animal bones are
discovered in a remote
corner of the country.
Mysteriously, all the
clues lead back to an
isolated farm. It's a
race against time for
Tempe to reveal the
secrets held in the
evidence, before
another person
falls victim.
.
Monday Mourning -
Tempe is due to
testify at a trial in
Montreal, but just
before is called
to examine 3 sets
of skeletal remains
in a pizza parlour
basement. Detective
Claudel believes the
bones are historic,
and some 19th century
buttons found at the
scene support his
theory. But Tempe
thinks otherwise,
& must apply her
forensic know-how
to determine if the
remains indicate
contemporary murders.
Meanwhile, Detective
Ryan is acting
mysterious, leaving
Tempe to ponder both
her professional and
personal lives..
.
Cross Bones -
A body is found in a
closet, too
decomposed to be
recognisable. Initial
reports state death
by self-inflicted
gunshot, but the
family strongly refuse
to believe it as
suicide. Whilst Tempe
examines the bones,
she recieves a
mysterious photo &
is told that it holds
clues to the case.
Tempe and Ryan
follow a trail of
clues to Israel, and
become involved in
an age-old case that
questions 2000 years
-worth of religious
history.
.
Break No Bones -
Dr Brennan and her
students are on
an archaeological
field trip, examining
prehistoric graves on
the Dewees barrier
island. The group is
shocked to find a
near-fresh body in a
shallow grave, and so
Tempe sets to work in
examining the remains.
Mysterious
circumstances and
evidence provide
challenge in Tempe's
professional life;
whilst her personal
life is complicated by
the hospitalization
of her estranged
husband, Pete, & the
on-off relationship
with Detective Ryan.
A second body is soon
found and adds further
depth and mystery to
the investigation..
.
Buried Deep -

building in Chicago.

that the bones
originate from more
than one individual,
