Appearance in today's society I think is over rated because we often do not see the true person on the inside. Recently I have been thinking about why people hardly ever want to see the person on the inside. Are we truly scared to look at a person's inner being or do we just want sex without love? I hope that I am wrong about this because that means it is a pretty snobbish world we live in. I would love to find a man whom thought my inner being out shined my outer. Someone who accepts the good and bad that comes with life and is not afraid to show their own good and bad sides. After all we are human and I do have some weird habits like talking to dead people but most important we love each enough to work things out. Not many people I know take time our to try to calmly work out their difference's or even try to see the other person's side of things. Today we are much too busy often rushing into things and we forget that we're human with human faults.
I have many faults that I freely admit although I am sure someone out there can point out some I have missed. I allow myself to make mistakes and to correct those mistakes. Learn from my own actions and try not to hurt a friends feelings. I did that recently by accident and my friend told me so which is something most of my other friends do not do. I rather have someone say it straight out then keep it hidden because they are afraid to hurt my feelings. I decide what hurts and what does not hurt. I rather they take that risk in order for me to see myself better or at least through their eyes. To me that is a true friend whom is willing to tell you anything whether it hurts or not.
The truth shall set you free they say and I believe that to be the case with me. If you are green, orange, red, brown, black, or poke-a-dotted I shall embrace you with open arms unless your have a bad personality or try to murder me. Treat others how you wish to be treated is how I like people to treat me.
