Paintrock was purchased at the 2nd Family Reunion sale of 7A+ in 2004 in Paris Ky.  I went down with the express purpose to purchase a buck to introduce some 7A+ genetics to my herd known for their heavy muscling.  I was busy with work and really had not had the time to study the sale video.  With the notes I had I started my search in the pens at the sale.  I walked into the pen where Paintrock was and knew he was coming home with me.  He was one of two sons listed in the sale from DSM Jeremiah.  He is 50% RAM H Tobias pedigree wise.  He is the cornerstone at Boncher Farm and look forward to his contribution to the program for years to come.  As Cathie Keblinger would say "look at the heavy hindquarters".

7A+ Yellow Pine

Yellow Pine was my first choice of the bucks at the 7A+ sale in 2006.  He is a younger half brother to Paint Rock sharing the same mother.  I was unable to purchase Yellow Pine at the sale but as soon as I learned he was for sale in 2007 jumped at the chance to add him to the 7A+ breeding program here at Boncher Farm.  Can you blame me.    He has all the muscle and mass one could ask for.  Just look at the width he has.  There is no asking "where's the goat" he is all there.   Not only are the genetics of RAM H Tobias showing in Yellow Pine's muscling but I feel the genetics of the doe African Sophia who was full SA breeder Venter are shining threw.
