It is reported today that Sister Lucia de Jesus dos Santos, a Carmelite Sister and the last remaining of the three visionaries of Fatima has died. She was 97 years old. Her cousins Jacinta and Francisco Marto, also visionaries, died in 1920 and 1919 respectively.

Sister Lucia lived in the convent at Coimbra, Portugal.

STOP killing My children - I Am Mercy Ever

Today a young lady in Florida USA has been killed by a court order given to her husband Michael Schiavo  [her legal guardian] enabling him to stop the food and water which for years had been provided by a tube into her stomach. Terri Schindler Schiavo was 41 years old and suffered from serious brain damage sustained 15 years before. She had been living in a hospice, able to breathe normally and to respond in some ways but unable to move very much, to speak or to swallow. Her parents and family had fought a long legal battle to stop her husband and to save her life but sadly in every court case they were refused custody of Terri and no treatment had been given to her for several years, at her husband's insistence.  [He lives with his  common law wife and their two children but has remained legally married to Terri]. The Sacraments were also refused by him when she lay dying, and were then finally given, but he refused her family permission to be with her in her dying moments, and they had to wait outside the room so only her husband was with her as she died. This case involved actions by the US Congress and  President George W. Bush, yet the courts of Florida consistently overruled all attempts to reopen the case and allowed Mr. Schiavo to end Terri's life. He stated that she had asked not to live if she was not able to live as most people do and although there was no confirmation of this except from his own family, he was allowed to proceed. Accordingly Terri's feeding tube was removed [ the third time in several years] and she slowly and painfully starved to death, having been deprived of food and water for 13 days. It was a complicated case and a bitter struggle was fought through the legal system for many years but sadly a very wrong decision was made and Terri suffered  greatly because of it, as did her loving family. They are not allowed even to give their daughter the Catholic burial they would choose as her husband insists on cremation and burial of the ashes in his own family plot.

I write this partly as a memorial to dear Terri, as a tribute to her bravery and to the courage of her family throughout this dreadful time, but also to warn against the new idea which is being strongly promoted in America that people should write Living Wills. These Wills would enable a person to be starved to death as Terri was, should their physical health decline to such a state as Terri's. Terri was not dying, she was simply not able to use the faculties we all use every day. She smiled and laughed but could not speak. She could wave her arms but could not stand or walk. She was seriously incapacitated but not useless, for every human life is precious and every life is a Gift of Heaven.

Our Lord has told me clearly  that under no circumstances are we allowed to end any human life, whether that of an unborn child or someone who, like Terri, has become incapacitated. God gives life and only He will end it, therefore a Living Will must never be used. It is a mortal sin to end any life. We are to provide by any means whatever  is required for the comfort and sustenance of the sick. We are to treat them with love. 

Many people have died in other places for different reasons - and some like Terri have starved to death because they were too poor to buy food and no-one would provide for them. Many others have died from diseases which, with proper medicine, could have been cured, but again lack of money and lack of goodwill meant the people suffered a great deal until Our Lord mercifully ended that suffering. War has caused many deaths and serious injuries.

I watched as another young lady [Niago in Rwanda] died some years ago from lack of food and water. She was locked in a hospital room and refugees from the war had camped in the grounds. With a huge feast spread out on the ground in front of her room they refused to give her anything to eat and drink. Two men in adjacent rooms suffered the same fate. I could hear Niago calling out 'Jesus help me' and after she died Our Lord kindly let me see her, happy beside Him in Heaven.

The cruelties of our world must stop. They are demonic and we have all been warned of the penalties of following Satan. Our Lord told me some years ago that 'Satan puts his own evil thoughts into people's minds' and causes immense suffering to God's children and to Our Lord Himself. We are to care for those less fortunate that ourselves, to love them as our own brothers and sisters, not to ignore them or to cruelly end their lives. Those evils come directly from the Abyss.

When each of these evils occurred Our Lord wept. He has told me so. He weeps every day at the atrocities He sees in this world. Our Blessed Mother weeps. His poor cruelly treated children are now happy beside Him in Heaven.

May Our Lord forgive the sins of this world.

The Holy Father, Pope John Paul ll passed peacefully into eternal life at 9.37 pm today from his apartment in the Vatican.  He had been suffering from a high fever and infection.

Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

May the soul of your beloved son Pope John Paul ll rest in everlasting joy and peace.

We thank you Lord for his immense work for holy Mother Church

and for the many graces which, by his prayers for us, you have granted to your children.

He was a man of great love who brought  the Love of God to all humanity.

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Burial of Saint Paul the Holy Apostle

While in prayer tonight, having thanked Our Lord for the peaceful death and for the life of our Holy Father Pope John Paul ll. Our Lord showed me the burial of Saint Paul the Holy Apostle. Saint Paul had been imprisoned for a long time in Caesarea and had asked to be heard in Rome as he was also a Roman citizen. He was therefore sent to Rome where he was placed under house arrest awaiting a hearing by the authorities. He was allowed to lodge with friends in a pleasant house. I had previously been shown his room there, very light with white walls and quite comfortable, unlike the dreadful dungeon in which he had been incarcerated in Israel. He remained in that house in Rome for one year, able to receive visitors but was not allowed to leave the premises and was never heard by the authorities to whom he had appealed to save his life. After one year had passed he died peacefully by Our Lord's Grace and was immediately beside Our dear Lord in Heaven.

His body was carried to a catacomb in Rome by three men and one lady, the people with whom he had lodged, and I saw them place the body, wrapped in strips of linen, onto a shelf in the wall. Saint Peter's body was placed in a catacomb in a different part of Rome.

Saint Paul was 52 years old when he died.
