CRICKET FC (formally known as Boca Seniors) team was established by a group of friends who played soccer on a regular basis. After discussion with the usual players that tuned up every week at practice, it was decided that we would try to form a team to play Sunday Nights in the HWSA league. The name Boca Seniors was suggested by Fred Mattioli, an argentinian. He was a professional soccer player in his years. He also managed to get the Boca Juniors official uniforms for the team. (All the way from Argentina!!!)

He left the team a few season ago, but the team continued.. He is currently an eye lasik specialist.

Fred Mattioli, M.D.
Dr. Mattioli is one of Houston's most experienced laser vision correction surgeons with over 20,000 procedures since 1999. He has received numerous honors and awards for his contributions to the science of ophthalmology, and has been published in the Journal of Refractive Surgery, the American Journal of Medical Science and other leading national medical publications. Dr. Mattioli resides in Houston and serves as an active member of both local and national ophthalmology and medical associations. He is a native Houstonian and speaks fluent Spanish. Additionally, he has had the LASIK procedure on his own eyes.

Boca Seniors first season, ended in success as they finished undefeated in the 4th division and gained automatic promotion.

Boca Seniors continued their excellent form into the start of the season with a run which meant Boca were sat top of the table, and continue to move up in divisions for the following soccer years.
