I’ve been playing music since my folks brought home a Hammond Chord Organ when I was 5.
Aside from school music, my first experience was during high school as a sax player in Surf Bands in LA. (Del Mars, Bel Airs).
My folks moved East my senior year and I switched to guitar and played in a bunch of bands in Western NY, Deacon and the Preachers, The Rogues, Peter and the Wolves, Pot Luck, Blue Cheese, Greenmuck Farm).
Moving back to California I received a music degree from Mira Costa College and played in a bunch of rock, folk and jazz groups. (Fresh, The Mira Costa Jazz Quartet, The Proxy Rockers and Proxy Jazz Orchestra). Back in NY again I played solo and with The Waterbrothers, and The Heaters.
Then I took a 10 year break.
For the past 6 years I have been performing solo in and around the beautiful Finger Lakes area of NY. If the venue is fun and has a great view, I’m there.
A couple of times a year I can also be found performing, and catching up with, my old friends and band mates in San Diego.

I learned late in life (but better late than never!) that music is a gift that should be shared. I will continue to play until I can play no longer!
Peace.
