A concept album of the musical After The Turn by Caden Jones and Robert Gould has been recorded and will be released later in the year. Vocals for the recording were performed by: Hannah McCormack, Olof Lonnroth, Caden Jones & Mara Ashton.

 A workshop of  After The Turn will be held in Birmingham on August 1 & 2, 2009 with the following cast: Hannah McCormack, Jonathon Sterling, Caden Jones, Mara Ashton & Rick Baker - directed by Clare Smith.

The world concert premiere of the musical, My Land's Shore, co-written by Bob Gould and composer/lyricist Christopher J. Orton, was staged at The Gate, Keppoch Street, Cardiff from August 3 to 5 - directed by Chris Orton, Jay Coleman and guest director, Craig Revel Horwood.

Bob is currently working as co-author of the Book and Lyrics for 2 other new musicals, Elephant Juice,  B.O.A.T.S. with Chris Orton. Elephant Juice had its first workshop at the Royal Academy of Music on February 24 and seven of its songs were recorded on September 12 and 13.  Other current projects include After the Turn, an innovative musical with composer and co-lyricist Tim Jones.

The vocals are by Stephanie Hughes, Michael Rees, Jack Roberts & Gemma Hughes, with musical arrangements and production by Andrew Griffiths, recorded at AGM productions. Also, a recording of You Have To Live/One More Sunrise (the finale of The Dying Game) can be heard at:

Bob has recently begun writing songs with composer Robert Thomson from California  and they have collaborated on a musical version of Mark Twain's classic novel The Prince and the Pauper.

Talented vocalist, Jordan Puleston (formerly a member of south Wales Girl/Boy Band Bac2Bac) has recently recorded more of Bob's songs - to add to the 12 songs co-written by Bob that can be heard on Jordan's solo CD album, Crossing Borders. The album can be purchased online:

Bob produced a live concert, Crossing Borders, starring Jordan Puleston, supported by Ben Messenger and other guest singers, at the Dylan Thomas Theatre, Swansea on Friday, July 29.

Copies of the albums Rewind and Jaded by singer/songwriter Ben Messenger  may now be ordered online. Each album features 12 songs  in a variety of genres, including pop, folk, rock, country and blues.
