For the Blackstones twenty four years seems like yesterday! It was Monday September 9th 1985, the signpost at Njenka read: "WELCOME TO CPC BALI." The 36th batch of students who eventually formed the Blackstones, set foot on the campus of Cam-Pro-Col. In the years that followed (five for some and seven for others), the students were confined to the walls of one of the greatest institutions of learning and development in Cameroon.
In the beginning, it seemed like leaving mama and daddy was bringing nothing but hard times .Some of us even contemplated quitting school. However, as the years passed , we enjoyed the support provided by each other. This support and togetherness eventually led to the creation of the Blackstones. This group was very dynamic and creative, we entertained the student body during saturday evening 'socials'with dramas, poetry, music and stand-up comedy.
We were privileged to be served by three of the most 'powerful' principals: Mr. A.N Sumbele AKA Bond, LT Rev.Dr Ndingwan AKA Pasteur, and the first ever lady principal(interim) ,Mrs. Daniel Pricilla AKA Ma Ndro. This class also had one of the strongest student governments led by the late Ambe Bernard (Tybalt).
The goals of the 'Blackstones' include among others to:
(1) Maintain the relation of members with CPC Bali and each other.
(2) Help raise funds, contributions in order to support the activities of BOBA(TONLEC,WHP).
