I have always had a passion for all animals, especially the less-cuddly types. I remember being 7 years old and watching the Croc Hunter on Animal Planet and just being fascinated by the snakes, crocs, and lizards... After Steve's recent death, I thought I should do something to continue his legacy. That's where Boas 'R Us comes in.
I have decided to found a type of organization in which I plan to present educational shows to students, and anyone else that will listen. Using my own collection of reptiles, including some gorgeous snakes, lizards, toads, etc, and some wild-caught specimens, which will be released after the shows, I will show people the kinder side of reptiles.
Not only will I be doing educational programs, but I also plan on being a sort of "wrangler," by this I mean that I will voluntarily take unwanted snakes from places where they are unwanted, and put them somewhere safe, a bit further from humans. My main concern with this adventure is the snakes' safety, I would prefer to let them be, but if they are otherwise going to be killed, I would most definately prefer to release them elsewhere.
If you have any questions, comments, or would like to set up a show, please feel free to e-mail me at Boas_R_Us@hotmail.com
thanks!
Jess
