For over 32 years the Boarding House Restaurant has been serving homemade soup, salads and sandwiches. Come visit us in historic Gilman Village located in Issaquah, Washington. You may find it hard to leave without trying a piece of our signature dessert, warm granny smith apple crisp...baked daily and served with fresh whip cream!  

Serving lunch daily Mon-Sat from 10am-5pm and Sun 10am-4pm.

The Boarding House's cozy atmosphere and gracious hospitality makes it the perfect spot for any occasion! Meet friends and  family for lunch, coffee or dessert. This winter, warm up by the fire with a mug of steaming spiced apple cider.

Dessert Chef and co-owner, Jene Kramer is constantly working on new original recipes. One of her popular delicacies, strawberry shortcake made the press this summer and her pumpkin bread pudding is a big hit every Thanksgiving.  The Boarding House's carrot cake and crisps are constant favorites, but you'll never know what new sweets await you with Jene in the kitchen!

Even though her homemade macaroni and cheese sells out most Fridays, Co-owner MaryAnn is best known for her work behind the scenes. Her standards ensure you will receive the utmost in quality food and drink while dining at the Boarding House.
