I made a doll site. O_O Wow.]
Like most dollers, when I first made my website, I pretty much updated it all the time...
I started out with a Freewebs premade template, which I have forgotten what it was by now...
My sister, Gaya, made me a layout, which was set up around May 26th, 2007. The layout doll has changed, but the coding and the blue squares have yet to. (I quite like them, really.)
About me
The name "Blu" started off at a writing forum/challenge called NaNoWriMo (or) National Novel Writing Month. [Official website] How? I am horrible with creating usernames, my favorite color is blue, and "Blue" was taken. (It didn't even cross my mind to use a different language or more specific color.) And, well, the name just stuck, and so I've adopted it and used it in other places. I'll even respond to it in real life. I am not trying to steal blue's fame for palette contests, or something (especially considering, last time I checked, she stopped dolling or even holding the contests). It was probably about a year after I started dolling before I'd even heard of her. (Admittedly, I am somewhat amused by it in some ways...but, yes.)
I started dolling sometime in July of 2006. I refused to make a dolling website until I at least had one base (mostly because I was very disappointed when I found a good doller that had no bases).
The first dolling website I ever knew was Wayuki's Place, which was given to me by a friend (now sister [Lady Akatari]) who was also very new to dolling. I will admit that finding other dolling websites with good bases was...difficult (especially at that time. If you check Wayuki's links section, now, you'll find a lot more links than I first did. Heh).
I joined Eden Enchanted at one point, stayed for a while, didn't like it too much because, at the time, you had to pay for a lot of the stuff, considered buying a subscription, and ending up never actually getting one...
I later joined What the Muffin!?, and remained active until the forum was taken down. I was "Blu", of course (as I am on EE).
I now participate for the most part on EE, as they recently changed the way accounts are set up, so I made it to 101 posts and realized that you became a senior member once you got to 100! My first thought was basically "I can do things now!" And, yes, I am active as of the last time I've edited this page. ^_~
About my Sisters
There names are ordered, as far as I remember, in when I got them. Some of the dates of when we were "officially" sisters have been lost. (Though I might be able to find them out somehow...)
Gaya was my first sister. I was so scared that she would say no because she never mentioned sister-sites anywhere on her page, and I was sooo relieved when she said "yes" :3 She's a great doller, and I luffles her. We became sisters on February 5, 2007.
My doll to her: Base Base of me (horribly recolored by me) is by Gaya herself.

The Geek also roleplayed with myself and Akatari on the nanoboards. When the board went down, we set up somewhere else to RP and have yet to stop. We talk nearly constantly, and I'm the one who got her into dolling. Her first doll was amazing, and she's getting better all the time.

Lady Akatari was the one who introduced me to dolling. I roleplayed with her for roughly a year on the NaNo forums. She has wonderful characters, and is an amazing writer. She dolls mostly on smaller bases, and does a really good job of it...
Sissors is a real life friend, who I met in my Sophmore year (she was a Freshman, but we were taking the same class because of complicated reasons). I first got her into dolling, as well. She asked me to be her sister, and of course I said yes. ^^ She's a wonderful artist in many, many ways, for which I envy her a lot of the time. We're still good friends today, and we still see each other whenever we can.
