Blue Skye Danes

Hello from Chris and Ellen and thank you for your interest in Blueskye. We live in central Oklahoma. We now have 20 acres but only live on about an acre around the house. The rest of the property is kept in a natural state to help support abundant wildlife. We do keep some trails cut for walking and to be able to get to the blackberries! Besides the Danes we also raise dairy goats and when we are not to busy with puppies we enjoy fresh goat milk and making our own cheese.We also keep a few chickens and grow our own vegetables.

Our dogs are not just pets but are members of our family and spend alot of time indoors and sleep in our beds. When we have puppies they are born inside and stay inside until we start housebreaking them and training them to go outside. They are still kept indoors and we spend a lot of time interacting with them to make sure they are well adjusted and well socialised. It is very important to us to find them good loving homes. Adding an animal to your family is a major commitment and a huge responsibility. This is not something that should be done on a whim or the spur of the moment.
