Sit in the Adirondack chairs out on the large back deck and watch Pettigrew Creek flow through the backyard. You'll soon relax and forget the outside world while you're here.
We're less than 10 minutes from Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, site of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics downhill skiing events, and the highest vertical drop in the East. The Ausable River is only a mile down the road, and is great for fly fishermen and canoers. Our Lodge is located in the heart of the 6 million acre Adirondack Park, where "Forever Wild" isn't just an idea, it's protected by state constitution to stay wild forever. There are nearby hiking trails for all skill and stamina levels to explore. We are also located only about a half hour from Lake Champlain and historical sites such as Crown Point and Fort Ticonderoga.
