What is the blue hell indeed?. That question has been asked many a time
and I have the answer right here, so stop emailing me. The Blue Hell in
simplest terms is a gigantic Chasm (Hole) under the cities in Grand
Theft Auto 3 and Vice City. It was first discovered in GTA3 by an
unknown person that I have been trying to find for quite some time. In
GTA3, the blue hell wasn't really explorable and the only real way to
get to it was by accident or flying into the football stadium and
crashing into the field. But then came vice city!
When GTA: Vice City came out, the prospect of A Blue Hell and traveling
in it was increased when it was discovered that there were helicopters
to fly around in. You see, the Helicopter, in my mind is the single
greatest object created in terms of exploration. The Blue Hell In Vice
City is massive. It spans the two islands and there are many place to
go and things to see. The sunken tankers are accessable, the rocks in
the ocean make for great landing sights, and have caves in some of
them. With such a large amount of space to travel through, I
needed some help...and that came in the form of the Original Blue Hell
Exploration Team.
This is the question asked of me 2nd most to "what is the Blue Hell?".
Anyway, there are 2 good ways to get into the Blue Hell. The first and
easiest in my opinion involves the mansion with the sea sparrow. Simply
go to the Vercetti Mansion and head toward the back. Now, once in the
back of the mansion you should be able to use the sea sparrow. Get in
it, and once inside, SLIGHTLY move upward, no more than a few feet off
the ground. Then, turn the copter around 180 degrees as to face the
pool room in your mansion. Then you are going to need to navigate into
that pool room. Once inside, head up toward the ceiling (which isn't
solid). You should fly right up through it. Then slowly move forward
over that grey hole in your house. That is the Entrance into the Blue
Hell.
The second way in is by that hotel across the street from the Malibu
club. Get any helicopter of your choice and head toward the hotel right
across the street from the malibu. The hotel should have what looks
like a valet pickup near the front. You are going to need to fly under
that valet thing (if you are not sure what I'm talking about the valet
overhang has red letters on it). Once under the valet overhand, fly up
into it. Once inside you should be able to find your way down into the
Blue Hell.
Remember, do NOT use the seaplane, as if you do somehow get into the
Blue Hell with that plane, you will eventually get stuck on an
invisible barrier and the only way back to the surface will be to bail
from the plane and take the plunge into the abyss. Oh yeah, don't try
using a car, or you will simply fall everytime you get down there.
Trigger Happy Guy's Exploration Method:
The nose Dive
1. Get a tank.
2. Enter the dodo cheat.
3. You need to keep firing till you get really high in the air, you'll
know when you're high enough because the roads will stop loading.
4. Find a REALLY tall building.
5. Get above the building then tip the tank down and go straight
through the roof(it's invisible+you can go through it)right down to the
floor. If you done it right the you'll appear in blue/black hell for a
moment then pop back up and everything will be upside down.
Notes:
It doesn't always work, sometimes you may get stuck in the building
depending on which building.
The buildings that work the best are buildings with no visible
roofs(some have roofs but are hollow).

Yes, there was a time when people said, 'There's no submarine! You people are idiots!" Well, after
this picture was snapped, all doubt about a submarine underwater went away. Not only that you can fly
through this thing!
Ah yes, The sun from the Underworld. When the sun sets this is where it goes, You can actually
hover in the purgatory and watch the sun as it goes around the world in its pre-determined path
and see it rise.
