This is Kurt Wagner. He was taken into an experiment when young, then accidentally dropped into a river ( pretty stressful ). He was then found by a couple in Germany, who did not scream in terror like many others might of but took him in as there own. When he was 16 he came over to the U.S. to join Xaviers school for gifted youngsters, and this is where the show began...

Nightcrawler may look different but really wants to be normal. He joined the X-Men in the first episode and stars in many other episodes throughout the seasons. Kurt grew up in Germany and is not your  average mutant, he is covered in a deep blue fur, has a long tail, two toes on each foot, three fingers on each hand, and elf like ears.
