CAT NUTRITON

Cats are pure carnivores unlike dogs, cats do not need additional nutrition from vegetables or cereals, a diet of solely meat is enough to keep your cat in good health. Cats can be fed either dry cat food or wet/jelly cat food, but I recommend you feed a combination because dry food is good for a cats teeth, and generally contains more vitamins and minerals than wet food, also alot of cats wont eat dry food on its own, so mixing it with wet food is the only way you may get your cat to eat it.
Cats should be fed two medium sized meals a day at set times, morning and evening, cats should not be fed any later than 10am in the morning as they will get to hungry to wait any later. Cats should be supplied with fresh cool water daily, do NOT give your cat cows milk, though many people think that it is good for cats it is NOT it contains lactose which many cats are intolerant to, and it can give them an upset tummy and cause vomiting, sometimes a little bit of milk is ok as a treat, but I recommend you get your cat to drink water, or you can buy cat milk, formulated for cats.

Treats for your cat

Although desirable it is not necessary to feed your cat comercial cat treats, such as felix lickins', whishkas kitbits etc...feeding to many is bad for cats, as they are fatening and too high in protein, the occasional treat is ok, but if you want to treat your cat, ham or cooked chicken in moderation is a healthier option.
