Why are all the translations scattered?

Because they are.

lol. Well the game is an event based game where depending on what you choose to do, the ending will come out differently. So the 4 different endings are given translations so that you can try and reach them. (The walkthrough is not the only way to get that ending. Just one way.)

The 1st day, 8th day, rest of days... Every ending has the same 1st day. Every ending has the same 8th day. So separate pages were made. Simple as that.

A 'freeplay' option to this website is under construction so that you may navigate the game easier. For now you will have the hunt down among the different ending translations.

Where can I download the music or the game?

You can find all these things in the downloads page.

What does it mean by '1st Day', '____ Ending', or '8th Day'?

Well the story line of the game works this way. The very first day is the same for all the endings. And there are different ending you can achieve in the game. There are 4 different endings. The 'Roy ending', the 'Tea alchemist ending', the 'Veggie Ending' (Vegetable Ed), and the 'Pride Ending'. Also for each ending, the 8th Day+ will also be the same. To save space and time i just put a separate page for the 1st and 8th day and on. But after a certain point on the 8th day it goes back into being different. By that time there will be links in the 8th page letting you return to translations of the ending of your choice.

How can I save the game?

Thank you to Jackie for providing me with a method for saving the game!

This is by far one of the most asked questions. You can find out how to save the game on the Tools page, but to save the game, you will have to properly set it up.

Steps for making your game 'Savable':
1) After you open the file with WinRar (or other program) click to 'extract files' and choose where you would like to save the file.
2) Wait while WinRar extracts the files.
3) Go to the file you have just made and click on the blue/purple icon labeld 'AutumnBIRD'.
4) Have fun playing!

Why do I have to do all these steps?
This is because WinRar does not allow new files to be saved (security purposes), and every time you save, an item has to pop up into the folder, holding all your game memory. However, because WinRAR doesn't let new files in, that doesn't happen. So you have to extract the files, making the folder not a RAR folder, but just a regular one. Now, you may ask:

Why do you have to make it a RAR file in the first place??                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Rar file format makes the size of the download much smaller, if it wasn't in the RAR file format, the download would extend past its already frighteningly large size.

My download isn't working!

I don't know what you're doing wrong but to fix this try these things.
1) Megaupload not working for you? Try sendspace.
2) Are you clicking on the wrong program? Click on the AutumnBIRD.exe file.
3) Are you using the WinRAR (or another program that opens files)? If not go to the downloads page to get a copy.
4) Try downloading it again.
5) Still not working? Try emailing me and I'll try and help you to work through your problem. ^-^

Is there yaoi in the game?

Yes and no. If I remember correctly there is a slight hinting at some pairing but no it doesn't come outright into shonen-ai. I don't want to spoil the game for any fans out there so I won't go into detail but the game is meant for fans so the creators put some pairings in there but just barely there in my opinion. Actually sometimes its kinda apparent like some akward scenes but nothing really romantic happens. For those extrememly homophobic ones, don't play then. Tolerant ones, its not that much to handle. Rabid yaoi fangirls, you'll be dissapointed.

Is there an english patch?

No. Not currently. Dejavu used to have a project to create an english patch here. But alas, that has ended (or stalled at least). kayatestu@live.com once tried to form a team, but I'm pretty sure that ended too. So far, chances look pretty glum for an english patch.

Take down the download!

Sorry, I don't see why I should.

You can spout on about Himoru Arakawa wanting the game shut down but I really doubt she cares all that much against it. The game was made by fans and for fans, just the same as any fanart you see on the internet. It was just that they were selling it and some copyright issues came about. Spreading it around for free will only give more popularity to her series and is doing no harm to her. What I am doing is not wrong or illegal, I'm not asking for donations or any monatary reward of any sort, nor will Ocean X get on my case, because well, they're disbanded so they're over all this and you guys should be too. Just enjoy game, seriously.
