Host a party. Charge a cover and give away a raffle ticket to each guest. You can sell extra tickets before the party as well as at the door. You can either purchase an item to raffle off, or get something donated by a parent or someone who loves you very much. 
To keep expenses down, ask guests to each bring a potluck dish and drinks.
