Yuki and Zeke are still in love against all odds and bets. The two have been married for a full year with minimal cheating. But they’re apart for the first time since Zeke spent a year in Florida attending design school. Yuki is off in Italy working on his new novel while Zeke is working as a fashion designer and model in New York City.
Their roles have been reversed and they've matured somewhat. Yuki is more focused on his writing and rarely takes time off for pleasure. He has an Italian lover named Loranzo who secretly hosts desires of being Yuki's one and only. Yuki is much more serious and he's even more protective of Zeke now than when he first realized his feelings when they were kids.
Zeke hasn't changed all that much now that I think back on it. He's much less reserved and not at all shy. He gives in easily to sexual advances and can't (or won't) say no. He is a rising star in the fashion industry and wisely keeps most of his money in a trust for emergencies.
He has a reputation for being easy.
Currently he is sleeping with a German-American actor named Chloe Diederich.
Chloe is kind enough when compared to some of the other men in Zeke's life, but his friends leave much to be desired. Chloe's closest friend and co-star Damion Royalle has taken an unhealthy interest in Zeke.
Damion is attracted to Zeke but denies his budding bisexuality. So like most men when faced with a blow that messes with the way that they view themselves, he takes out his anger on Zeke.
Zeke is rooming with an art student from Florida named Drake and even though Drake is really the sweetest thing, Zeke still misses his best friend from Japan, Izumi.
And of course, Hayato Nida, Zeke's mafia bodyguard and the first man that Zeke has ever slept with, has come to New York with his charge.
Some of the people that Zeke work for include goth punk band Rude is What We Do, Japanese AV actor Akimoto Takumi, novelist Dei Rothchild, and Chinese drag queens Mace and Ming Yi.
Zeke really gets into his work and often falls in lust with his bosses.
It is that kind of lust that gets him into the most trouble and finds him at the mercy of Italian aristocrat Ash.
