Blu-Mombo American Staffordshire Terriers
Blu Mombo Amstaffs is committed to producing a total package. I have owned this breed type my entire life and have been producing wonderful Amstaff companions for 18 years.
My biggest efforts in producing such a magnificant terrier is personality and temperament. With that in mind, we also take pride in the correct conformation, large bones, block heads and pure bloodlines.
The American Staffordshire Terrier, also commonly known as Amstaff, is one of the oldest terrier breeds. This breed was originated in the early 1800's by crossing the bulldog and the game terrier. The Amstaff is now being developed by the original stadards that were set in 1936, the year the breed gained ACK recognition.
The Amstaffs come in many colors: black, blue, brindle, fawn (various shades), patched, red or a combination of any previously listed with flashy white markings.
The American Staffordshire Terrier is one of the most versitile breeds; Amstaffs make great family guardians, excellent hunters and great friends. They have the same drive to please as other terriers and do well in most environments. Illness does not strike this breed easily as they have a very hearty immune system.
Above everything, Amstaffs loyalty and devotion to the family surpass other breeds. They crave the family's attention and affection along with being very eager to please the family. They make a wonderful companion for children, as they are very tolerant and dependable. The breed is very strong, ensuring no concerns from the family that a child make break the dog.
