Bieri Pride Comics
What is Bieri Pride Comics?
Well it's not a major comic book company. In fact it doesn't really exist. Bieri Pride was a name my wife came up with years ago when I was working on building a CH-47 Chinook helicopter for my 1/6th scale action figures. There are a few comic stories with the Chinook floating around somewhere. My son and I decided to use the name for our comics. We both write our own stories, mostly based off of either other comic heroes or movie characters. Of course we don't get paid to do this, if I did then I'd probably end up hating it because then it would become work. It's a hobby that we both enjoy. So sit back and enjoy the show.
7/18/07- A couple new additions to the site. First is something I call One Shot, simply put it's just a one page comic that got the point across. The second is Life Size Dio. This is really cool. Right now where I live there are 20 life size sculptures. These were done by artist J. Seward Johnson who has more than 200 of these cast bronze figures in private collections throughout the world. I was lucky to have the chance to see them before they stopped the exhibit. These are very life like and so cool. Also fun to interact with.
7/23/07- Today I have a blast from the past. So the speak. I wrote these both years ago with a 35mm camera. You can see the difference between an actual camera pictures and digital pictures. I put them in a comic book format and "fixed" the pictures to look a little bit better. This was when I first starting doing comic stories so I was just learning the how to's of photoshopping and adding different effects. I could have fixed it, but I thought it would be a good idea for eveyone to see where I was to where I am now.
10/08/07- I've finally had time this past weekend to finish up a few projects. Here's one I hope you'll like http://www.freewebs.com/blowtorch1984/law.htm There's also a short video too no sound however so you won't be missing anything. http://s130.photobucket.com/albums/p278/Blowtorch_album/?action=view¤t=Law008.flv
11/23/07- Got a couple new photo albums set up. The first one is called The Pit, nothing really fancy just some real quick comics put together. The second one is call Snake Eyes. Anyone who remembers the 80's may also remember GI Joe in either cartoon, comic or action figure form. This is a tribute to this character and was inspired by Devil Due's Snake Eyes Declassifed and Marvel issues 26 & 27.
3/16/08- Well sorry folks for not doing updates like I should.
