Blood & Lipstick started life as a vehicle for putting on live rock music at a venue called Bar Blu in Rhyl, North Wales in March 2003.

In the ensuing period it has evolved, adding venues to its roster and broadening its horizons to emcompass all types of music as well as comedy, sporting events and so forth.
