What exactly does the PSO do?
The PSO supports the "JUST DO IT" program. We provide pizza and drink after a grading period for the students with no reminders.
The "TRIBUTE TO SUCCESS" recognizes those students who have achieved a 3.6 or higher grade point average for each of the first three marking periods. The PSO provides the refreshments for this reception.
The BJHS OLYMPICS is the biggest hit of the year. We provide the drinks and snacks for this event.
SPIRIT DAY - The second Friday of every month the PSO holds a spirit day during lunch. When a student wears his/her school colors he receives a snack/treat. Outside of donations, the PSO provides this snack.
TEACHER APPRECIATION - The PSO brings in food for the teachers during conferences. We also plan a few appreciative projects for our teachers throughout the year.
These are only a few projects we participate in. We encourage all parents and family members to join the PSO. Our fundraisers help make these projects possibe for our students. 100% goes toward our children.
We are excited about the new transition and have a few new projects that we are working on.
The PSO meets once a month to review our financial books and discuss current projects and future projects. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have regarding the PSO.
