Small Title

Phenomenon

This story will be my very first Sci-fi related story. It'll be a Romance~Sci-fi/Aventure or Horror. I've redone it about a million times so now I'm just going to wait until I finish some things and my writing improves before I take another shot at it.

It's basically about these creatures that take over the earth and the two main characters have to stop it.

Chapter One Preview (I'm going to change the names for Ally and Lawrence):

I owe him not only my life, but Alice's life too.

What's your name?” he asks in a weird tone. As if it's a big secret.

Ally Woods,” I mumble as I press on the gas peddle and speed through the forest and back to our home.

I keep glancing back at Alice wondering if she's really going to be alright now. She looks fine, the only thing that I'm really worried about now are the cuts on her cheek. I hope they don't leave scars or anything. They're not really that deep though so hopefully they'll heal fine. Though I'm not so sure about the wound on her arm. . .

In the back of my mind I remember the plant we had come to get but don't think I have the time to go back and get it now. Which means that I'll have to come back later to get it.

Sighing as I turn on the dirt road I wonder, if the Teras attack us while moving, will this man be able to protect us? Will he protect us?

He seems to be at ease. Like there's nothing to be afraid of. I'm curious about him. He's not normal, that's a given. But I wonder what he could be then. Maybe he's an android or something. I've seen that in movies before. . .

I softly gasp when he starts playing with strands of my hair. His fingers running through the many locks, from the base of the pony tail to the very end. Once he got to the end of my hair he grabbed some strands, rubbing it between his thumb and forefinger.

I glance over at hm. His eyes haven't left mine for a second, I realize.

Blood rushes to my face, making me blush as this realization hit me. I've never had a boy stare at me so closely and intently like this before. So I'm a little. . . inexperienced. So what? I'm just. . . there's never been a boy who caught my eye before.

But there's something different about this boy. Though I'm not completely sure what that 'something' is. Maybe it's just because he killed two Teras. Something that I wish I could do. But I didn't even kill the one I had shot, merely wounded it.

I want to be stronger. I want to be able to kill those little fuckers.

Through the haziness of my clouded mind I can feel my heart beat pick up it's pace as well as the car as I step harder on the gas peddle when the boy leans forward, closer to me.

I can feel his breath beating against my neck and ear as he whispers:

My name's Lawrence.”
