ANGEL OF DARKNESS I
Summary: There's something off about Cameron, something about him that's not human, not normal. But I've been watching him for so long. . . how could I have not noticed? He certainly is as beautiful as an angel, a dark angel.
ARC I - Is about Lily finding out about her friends secret lives and identities. She doubts it to be the truth at first, thinking that the concept itself is impossible, but strange things start happening. Raining glass and getting kidnapped is sure to bring her crashing down to a place where Reality is completely different from the one she grew up with.
ANGEL OF DARKNESS II
Lily ~ The first book is told from her point of view. Lily is pretty much clueless for the first Arc I and in Arc II her feelings for Cameron, which is already a deep affection, grow and boarder love. Soon she finds that she can't separate from the beautiful Angel and will do anything to keep herself at his side.
Cameron ~ The second book is told from his point of view. Cameron is a Dark Angel that escaped from Heaven when sentenced to death. He starts to gain feelings for Lily and becomes protective of her, even going so far as to transform himself into the black cat, Midnight, to stay close to her on weekends and even snuggle with her at night.
Seth ~ A pervert Seth actually is in love with someone. A certain white wolf girl who refuses to leave his mind or heart. He's been Lily's best friend since
Christa ~ Christa is very affectionate and bi. Though she likes to play around with Lily she wants her to be with her brother Cameron and is the number one supporter for their relationship. She gets along well with Seth but there's some bitterness coming from Cameron.
Samantha ~ The first thing that stands out about her are her beautiful icy blue eyes. Sam enters the story with Julian and is a beautiful woman who has a history with Cameron, Christa, and Seth. She's a bit more series than Christa and Seth are and takes her job seriously.
Julian ~ He has a deep connection with Christa and wants her by his side but doesn't know if he's ready to let her in his life again. He's a crazy driver that gives Lily rides an scares her so badly her heart won't stop thumping in her chest. A crazy man, but a beautiful one.
PREVIEW FOR CHAPTER ONE:
What the hell just happened? It was so fast. He beat them all so fast. And made it look like it was nothing. I've seen Seth fight like that before, but never anyone else.
“That was. . . amazing,” I finally manage to gasp out.
Cameron turns to me with a wryly expression. He's probably wondering what they all did to me before he came to my rescue.
Just like a guardian angel. . . my guardian angel.
“Are you alright?” he slowly asks. His movement is hesitant as he steps toward me. I'm a bit worried because of that. For some reason it bothers me when people are hesitant towards me. As if I'm dangerous or something. It's only then that I remembered the gash on his arm.
“Oh shit! Are you alright?!” I grab his arm when he's in my reach. He tries to pull away but my grip is firm and tight. He probably could have yanked me off if he really wanted to, but instead he simply stops struggling against me and sighs.
“Please, just forget about it. It's nothing for you to worry about.” His voice is so calm and rational that I almost listened to it. But he had just gotten his arm slashed open.
“Like hell I'll just 'forget about it'! You're bleeding so bad! I have to get you to a hos. . . pi. . . tal. . .” my words trail off, my voice growing faint before disappearing all together.
I pull his arm closer, to get a better look. Cameron sighs again. I smear the blood on his arm, his black trench coat is ripped, torn right where he got cut. I can see the blood, smearing all over his arm and staining his coat. I saw him get slashed in the arm.
But where is the wound?
I'm not sure how long I stood their, studying his arm, before finally looking up. There is no wound, it has completely healed. I immediately drop his arm and step back, as if I'm afraid of him now.
There are so many things—so many questions I want to ask him now. But the one that is the most pressing and demanding is. . .
Just what the hell are you?
OoOoOoO
Song that inspired this story is Whisper, by: Evanescence
Catch me as I fall
Say you're here and it's all over now
Speaking to the atmosphere
No one's here and I fall into myself
This truth drives me into madness
I know I can stop the pain if I will it all away
Don't turn away
Don't give in to the pain
Don't try to hide
Though they're screaming your name
Don't close your eyes
God knows what lies behind them
Don't turn out the light
Never sleep never die
I'm frightened by what I see
But somehow i know that there's much more to come
Immobilized by my fear
and soon to be blinded by tears
I can stop the pain if I will it all away
Don't turn away
Don't give in to the pain
Don't try to hide
Though they're screaming your name
Don't close your eyes
God knows what lies behind them
Don't turn out the light
Never sleep never die
Fallen angels at my feet
Whispered voices at my ear
Death before my eyes
Lying next to me I fear
She beckons me shall I give in
Upon my end shall I begin
Forsaking all I've fallen for i rise to meet the end
