This is a site dedicated to the Yahoo Group, it's storyline, and it's members. You will find updates on the RPG in this site, as well as information on the characters, cannon and original, as well as pictures and other information based around the group's activities.
What is the RPG about?
Bleach: The RPG is a role playing group based off of the anime series, Bleach. The RPG begins after episode 111, but that's where the series ends, and the original storyline begins. The group setting is Mature, no members under 17 allowed do to violence, profanity, sexual situations, and all that good stuff, as well as no original characters under 17, for similar purposes. There are rules, which are sent to anyone wishing to join the group, as well as a bio template and a list of taken characters.
This group focuses on mainly Original characters, though there are many Cannons being played, including: Ichigo, Ishida, Orihime, Chad, Urahara, and various captains, however, the shinigami captains and lieutenants do not play a large role in the group. There's a large variety of characters to interact with, as well as a main storyline, with branching minor story lines, for players to follow, though players are welcome to make their own storyline to go on, as long as it doesn't subtract from the main.
There's a new race to be played in this group as well. Taken from Shinto mythology, we have integrated the Kami, a.k.a. Elementals, a.k.a. nature spirits, into playable characters, and they follow a rule sheet and guideline sheet. The five main elements (Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, Lightning) as well as lesser elements (Light, Dark, Stone, Ice, Ash).
But most importantly, this group is created for people who enjoy writing and RPing, and who are open to new concepts and ideas. Posting requirements are two or more paragraphs per post, and it's recommended that the post is spell-checked before submitted. Post submission every other day is recommended to keep the story moving, however if circumstances don't allow it, you are allowed longer pending letting the mods or the DM know. Some players post more often, and that is fine, as long as the post aren't moving too far into the future ahead of other players.
The mods strive to make the game fair, so a fighting system has been created, and is run entirely by the DM. However, usually fights do not need to involve the system, and it is played between players, or player vs NPC. Character powers are kept in check by describing it in detail in the character bio, and all OC's begin with three offense powers max (less if they wish), and the bio is approved/denied by the DM and the Mods. It's not unusual for a player to have to submit a bio three or more times simply because a power they choose is far too powerful at their current level. But don't be discouraged, as the DM can provide you with information and aid to get your character in shape.
Lastly, this group is for fun, but is taken seriously by the DM, who has worked very hard in maintaining, and creating the world/setting for everyone to join and be a part of. The DM is Holly / beowulf_darkknight , and plays a portion of cannons, as well as her own character, and several NPC enemies to throw at the players during fights. She's pretty open to ideas, and will go over anything you may have, whether it be a question or a comment.
