The journey on American Idol
First when I saw Blake audition I knew he was a star! He sang the song Crazy for his audition (you know, like how I am crazy for him!!!)! Then it got even better when they went into group week! The judge would have made a mistake if they didn't pick him to go on to the top 24! His first choice for the Top 24 song was he wanted to sing a robin Thicke song but Robin didn't give clearance so he ended up singing Somewhere Only We Know, and even though it was a slow song and there was no beatboxing it rocked! Then because I voted for him so much he got on to the Top 20 and sang Virtual Insanity (I LOVE THAT SONG)! He beatboxed through some of the song and it was so awesome, and I absolutely adored him hat that night! The I voted some more (49 times) and Blake made it through to the Top 16 where he chose to sing the Ragae song All Mixed up by one of my favorite groups 311. He used some beatboxing to block out some swear words too, which I thought was very creative. Then I voted more (74 times) and Blake had made it through to the Top 12 (he will be going on an AI tour because he made it this far!), and it was Diana Ross week so he chose to sing the song You Keep Me Hangin' On! He blakized the song just enough to get 176 votes from me that night! Then when in the Top 11 for British Invasion week he sang a song by the Zombies called Time of the Season, and it was amazing! I voted for him only 38 times that night because the lines were so busy! Then he made it through to the Top 10 for Pop week where he chose to sing Love song by The Cure! I loved it so much that I voted for him 137 times! Then he made it past that week and into Tony Benette week where he chose to sing Mack the Knife! This was a very good song choice for him so I voted for him 84 times! Then it was the Top 8 and the theme was Latin week where Blake chose the song I Need To Know by J-Lo's husband! It was a whole lot better than the original version so I voted for him 254 times that night! Then it was the Top 7 and it was Country week where he sang When the Stars Go Blue by Tim McGraw (ONE OF MY FAVE COUNTRY SONGS!!!)! HE WAS IN THE BOTTOM 3 THAT NIGHT!!! Luckily America was right and voted Sanjaya off though! I VOTED FOR HIM 397 TIMES THAT NIGHT!!! HOW WAS HE IN THE BOTTOM 3!?!? Then it was the Top 6 and that night it was Idol Gives Back week! Blake sang Imagine by John Lennon! He was a heck of a lot better at that song than John Lennon! I voted 479 times for 2 reasons! It was Idol Gives Back week and he rocked! Then It was the Top 6 again because no one went home on the charity night! It was Rock week that night where all the contestants had to sing Bon Jovi songs, and Blake chose You Give Love A Bad Name! I thought it was his best performance so far, but that's all I've seen so far with him singing!!! I could only get through 8 times that night!!! Then he went to the Top 4 and had to sing two songs that night! It was Boggie week that week where he chose to sing 2 bee gees songs! The first one was You Should Be Dancin', and the second one was This is where I came in! I loved both preformances unlike the judges! I could only get through 54 times!!! He ended up with the most amount of votes that night! Then he was in the Top 3! It was between Blake, Melinda and Jordin! All three contestants had to sing a judges choice, a producers choice, and their own choice. Blake had to sing Roxanne by The Police for the judges choice, which was chosen by Paula. For the producers choice Blake had to sing This Love by Maroon 5! Then for his own choice he chose a Robin Thicke song called When I get you alone. I thought it was an awsome song choice. As much as I loved the original song sung by Robin Thicke, I thought Blake did better. I voted for Blake 61 times that night! I know it's not a lot, but at least he made it through to the finale! Blake sang 3 songs in the top 2. He sang You Give Love A Bad Name, She Will Be Loved, and This Is My Now! LOVED THEM ALL!!! Then in the finale he beatboxed with Doug E Fresh!!! SWEETNESS!!! Sure Jordin took the title of American Idol, but Blake is still my winner!

Off 2 Da Side
So besides American Idol, and Audio Day Dream, many fans happen to know that Blake Lewis has preformed songs outside of all of this. Some songs preformed outside of these stages: 6468, She Loves The Way, Transmission, Emotional Waterfalls (well kinda), Dumpty Humpty, Give It To Me (with Laura Blue), We Came To Get Down (with Caleb Cunningham), Man vs. Machine (with Q-Bert),Gots Mine (with Flowmotion), A Lesson In Rythmatics, and Another Lesson In Rythmatics. There are other shows he performed on like the View, etc... But these songs were beyond that.
