Lads, with the firsts in the last 16 of the County motors cup, and the FAW, and also involved in the Amatuer cup, and with the seconds, doing superbly, the competition for places in the firsts and second team squads at present is at a premium, at the Blues we will be raising the anti in training, which i know each and everyone of you will accept the challenge. You are a credit to yourselves, lets enjoy the hard work, happy days!
The U18's ground out another win yesterday by beating fields park 4-3 over in Newbridge. Playing conditions were rediculous, but the game still went ahead, both teams looked as if they were playing in quicksand! Thanks to a first half hat trick from James Cox and a late winner from Joel Paye, the Blues were victorious on what can can only be described as a "Quagmire".
For the information of all players, committee, it has been drawn to my attention that, a few players are dispondent, due to the fact certain players are playing for the 1st team saturday who have not trained. It was myself, together with Robbie, who made the decision, that if players did not train other than having a reasonable excuse, they would not be considered for both sides, this was for their personal benifit, and for the other players who were training, this was endorsed by Nathen and Captain Darren. Let me set the record straight for the ones who think i have gone back on my words, there is NO ONE playing saturday who has not taken part in the last two training sessions. If anyone has a problem with this, i would respectfully ask that you contact me personally, so i have an opportunity to address the matter, in addition it's obvious these were not training either last thursday, or this tuesday, otherwise they would of seen all saturdays squad members training. Over to you!
