Black Sheep One the book by Bruce Gamble.

Very interesting book handling the entire life of Gregory Boyington from his birth trough his troubled childhood , trough his time as a aviation-cadet followed by the war and finally his last moments.... I recommend any of you that are interested to read this book. It reads nice and easy and gives us a view of Boyington that is rarely handled in other books about him. Well this is the auto-bio that Pappy wrote himself, although he sometimes romanced the facts it is still a very entertaining and interesting book to read. It's probably the best WW II auto-bio in it's genre.
