Our team aren't just made up of talented cheerleaders only, we also have some poets among our midst.

Here, we share with you some spirited poems made up at competition time.

20 co-ed cheerleaders with a champion routine,
20 co-ed cheerleaders with a champion routine,
but if one silly cheerleader should fall n break her arm, there'll be...19 co-ed cheerleaders with a champion routine.
19 co-ed cheerleaders with a champion routine
19 co-ed cheerleaders with a champion routine
then if two silly cheerleaders should end up with crutches, ther'll be....17 co-ed cheerleaders with a champion routine.
So wots the moral of this little rhyme???????
there are.....
17 co-ed cheerleaders with a CHAMPION routine. (we are still champions!!)
Whether our number is 20,
or whether our number is less,
we're a team who stick together,
and we'll always do our best.
So come on team,
Let's eat lots of ham, (thats kristy's contribution he he!)
n come out top at NOTTINGHAM!

now i lay me down 2 rest,
we have tried our hardest and done our best
we will always succeed through thick and thin
because we fight and never give in
in the morning our bodies will ache
but thats the price we are willing 2 take
with every muscle and every bone
we try our hardest to reach our goal
with every stunt, jump and cheer
we will make them better every year
so for every cheerleader stand up tall
and say to yourself cheerleaders were made not born
 

AN ODE TO THE SCORPIONS - Diane, July 2004

One week today we'll be on our way
to a competition at BCA
we've trained hard all year
to perform the best cheer
showing spirit and enthusiasm all the way.
So we've lost some of our squad
cause of injuries poor sod(s)
but we'll put up a good fight
with one aim in our sight
to bring home the best trophies
so come on SCORPIONS go win fight!
