Words of Wisdom Open Mic is really doing it this time! Come out on Labor Day SEPTEMBER 7TH for a special edition of WOW.
We will be celebrating the birthday of our grand host Church da Poet in spectacular fashion. Come out and roast the host with the most. Also....come see our Last Poet Standing competition!
It all goes down at Mansion 462 on 462 W Franklin St in Chapel Hill, NC.
Hosted by SuperSpectaboulous Penman (formerly known as Dasan Ahanu). We will be letting Church sit back and be adored.

Sign up for the competition will be from 8 to 8:30pm. YOU CANNOT SIGN UP at the Words of Wisdom page.
We will only have 8 poets in the competition. We will take all the names of the poets who want to enter and put them into a lottery. The 8 poets will be selected randomly. YOU WILL NEED 3 POEMS TO WIN!

You can sign up for the short open mic before the competition on the Words of Wisdom page. 5 slots available for PRE-SIGN UP. Go to "boxes" on the WOW page and the list is in the discussion board. There will be 5 additional slots available at the door.
