Magic Potion

The Black Keys latest album, Magic Potion, is available now. My personal favourite track is "Your Touch", it's fantastic! Please feel free to put your opinions on the new album in the guestbook so everyone can see.

The guys have also announced their european tour, for dates and venues see this link: http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/artist/847164/?camefrom=GGLEUK_BLACKKEYSTKS

Apologies for the advertisements and all the time the site was down - so popular recently the bandwidth couldn't cope, and freewebs decided to advertise. Ignore the sponsors at the bottom of a homepage - load of tripe.

Black Keys, Northumbria University, Wed 27th Sept 2006

Wow, these guys just keep getting better! This show was absolutely fantastic, with songs from all three currently released albums and a handful from their upcoming album (a teaser is available on their myspace site), there was plenty to enjoy. This was the second time I've seen the Keys live, and they really do just get better every time you see them. Thankyou Dan and Pat for a great show!

New look for blackkeysunofficial!

I decided to update the site, as it's been a while since it was created. There is anow a box at the bottom of this page. Click play to get a taste of one of my favorite tracks, from their second album, Thickfreakness. I hope you all like it! PS: Please sign the guestbook!

Info on the site and the band.

Hey! This is the 100% unofficial guide to all things: "The Black Keys"! Sign our guestbook, vote for and read all about; The Black Keys, your new favorite band!

The Black Keys are a two-man blues/rock band, from Akron, Ohio. Comprised of Dan Auerbach on vocals and guitars and Patrick Carney on drums, the Black Keys released their first album, The Big Come Up, in 2002. This album was a huge success, just no nonesense blues and rock! Their sophomore release, thickfreakness, was released in 2002, and their third album, Rubber Factory, was also a HUGE hit! Their Brand New album is available to buy now, it's called Magic Potion and it's fantastic!

Dan and Pat live at The Cockpit, Leeds. 31st October 2004.

This was where and when I saw TBK live for the first time. I can safely say that it was one of the best experiences of my life! Their albums are good, but unless you've seen them live, you've had but a mere TASTE of their fantastic music. This is them in action in The Cockpit.
