For us, each puppy is a lifetime commitment of breeder and owner.
This commitment starts with us with the selection of a CKC/AKC registered, health tested sire and dam who have been proven to represent the breed well . Then we place each puppy first as a lifetime companion and then to enjoy hunting, and in show, performance and field events too. We continue to support and mentor each family for the lifetime of their companion. Our commitment also means we support our breed and the characteristics of the breed by breeding from those dogs who come from long lines of dogs who are proven to represent the breed well, are health tested and have great temperament and by registering all of our dogs with the Canadian Kennel Club. Then we support each puppy by very carefully selecting our placement homes and working to ensure the best possible life for each dog.

We are NOT able to accept more applicants at this time. We will not be able to welcome visits to meet our dogs until February 2010. We are taking time now for our family and our dogs after a very busy summer, fall and early winter.. We hope you understand. Stay tuned for more information in early 2010.

2009 Litter: Have gone to their homes.
Our 2009 litter was born July 5, 2009. This breeding brought together the kennel lines of Blackbullet (LegacyX Varazs) and Jaybren (Kizmar X Jaybren) featuring outstanding dogs as companions, show and field dogs who have lived long lives. Legacy Vizslas is located in Pennsylvania, Varazs Vizslas is in Ontario and Jaybren Vizslas is in Washington State.

2007 litter:
Our 2007 litter was a carefully considered and long time planned breeding of our Jewel - Ch. Blackbullet Varazs Legacy NAVHDA NA (our 2004 litter) to Hudson - AM/CAN/INT Ch. Kizmar Touch of Evil JH CD RE. This was Jewel's first breeding. We are extremely pleased with the results!
Females:
Ch. Blackbullet Hudson's Touch NAVHDA Natural Ability Prizelll - Kati - OFA hip score Good, Elbows normal - 5 championship points won Aug 5 and 6 taking BB two days at 6 1/2 months of age! Kati took the breed again in Sept at 7 months and 1 week of age and again at her next show weekend for another 3 point win for a total of 9 points as a puppy. Kati earned her NAVHDA Natural Ability field title too at 7 months of age. By November Kati has 9 Ch. points having taken the breed 4 times as a puppy! Her first shows weekend out in 2008, she finished her Championship title, taking the breed. Kati is DNA profiled. Her owner has been training her for the obedience ring and some field work. With successful completion of her final health tests, we feel Kati will very proudly carry on our Vizsla lines in 2010 or 2011.

This was a breeding between Kati, Ch. Varazs HPR Kata of Blackbullet FDJ and Remmie, AM/CDN CH. Legacy's Leaps and Bounds. This litter has 5 boys and 3 girls. - All have been OFA hip scored!
It is the first litter for Kati, who turned 3 in June 2005 and the second breeding of Remmie who turned 4 in September 2004. Both dogs are OFA hip scored as 'Good' and clear for normal eyes and thyroid levels.

NOTE: ALL PUPS FROM THIS LITTER WERE OFA HIP SCORED - all rated Good or Excellent. Elbows cleared on Rufus too. Jewel from this litter whelped a litter of 9 on January 16, 2007 and July 5 2009. Jewel is also DNA profiled.
This litter was born February 14, 2004 from the breeding of Amber - CH. Varazs On Point At Blackbullet and Am/Cdn CH. Legacy's Leaps and Bounds. Four males, Chester, Nando, Rufus and Cooper and three females Amy, Maggie and Jewel resulted from this breeding. We are very pleased with this litter! Three show champions and a NAVHDA title holder before they are 2 years old.
