gross gross GROSS there is damn a lot of fungus growing on my bathroom door! and i think it's been there since forever but i've never figured that the white streaks are fungus. x| and they're like tiny and standing up. anyway i am damn tired! after reporting day (which was damn boring because there was no crowd to control) shimin nat marissa zeslene and i went out for sushi buffet but then zeslene pangsehed us when we reached wheelock so there were only four of us left. and all of us are pigs. PIGS! we ate like millions of plates. and we kept ordering tofu and takoyaki. and we were supposed to have 8 bowls of chawanmushi but then i think the waitress didn't believe we could finish so much (she gave us a surprised look and exclaimed EIGHT AH?! in her filipino accent) so she only gave us 4 bowls. ):
after sushi buffet we went to borders and sat down at the children's section and marissa and shimin fell asleep. damn unglam! then nat left and the three of us went to taka for orange julius and we sat in a corner of taka and ate our ice cream because there wasn't any space on the benches. DAMN UNGLAM! x|
okay anyway FENCING CAMP! was super fun except there were very (VERY) few people who turned up, and it rained 24 hours (and more) on the first day. and there was damn a lot of food. on the second day breakfast was at 10 and lunch was at 1130, and we went to eat at island creamery after our botanic gardens trail hahaha. THANKS ORGANISERS (:
then that night there was icyl dinner which was FUN TOO except there were very few people agaaain. haha. i spent nearly the entire time playing bridge / daidee with deb xianying and yen. and freak haha i'm damn loser at bridge! xD i super can't wait for CNY cos mahjong is really the only thing i'm good at. so exciting! x)

i had another OSL-related dream last night. it was raining really heavily (as it always does these days) and when i went into my toilet, there was a snail on the back of my door, a dead baby lizard, two big spiders, and two big mosquitoes in there. i killed all of them except the snail, because how can you kill a snail without being super grossed out. i hope i don't dream tonight.
the mosquitoes in the SLAC are really killer la! i got bitten so badly just now. grr. actually i have nothing to blog about. OM people! what can i say. jiayou la! x)

yay. SEC-C is efficient! (duh.) zhiying and i compiled 37 pages of the PSL manual alr (: and managed to watch 1 episode of snow queen and half an episode of 1litre of tears! haha.
but GAH orientation signages is a big headache. so complicated. i'm quite glad this is my last year of orientation planning i can't stand it. orientation is fun but planning is so all over the place. and after orientation will be CONVENTION ((: = icyl all over again! haha i love PUBS CREATIVE COMM. and our jobscope? LANYARDS, CERTIFICATES, PROGRAMME BOOKLET. exciting huh xD
this week there is fencing camp and icyl dinner (: hooray good chances to get away from everything. and i wish SMP would just disappear from my life forever. grrr.

oh and guess what, last night i dreamt about osl/icyl combined again. --" haha we were touring india or something in a bus but the landscape was singapore landscape then suddenly i pointed to a row of terraces and said 'the terraces are so retarded-looking.' and shiya was somewhere behind me was quite appalled and she told the mentor/teacher next to her 'did you hear what she said!' and repeated what i said. wow osl learning point in my dream leh! because in india our mentors put a lot of emphasis on watching what you say and being situationally aware xD HAHA SO RETARDED I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I SAID THAT. then when we went back to our accommodations suddenly it was my house and suddenly the people with me changed to ICYL FACILS?! group 1c/d facils la kylie deb and weixian HAHA. retarded. plus rachel miao. so it was lights out time and kylie and miao and i were in my room and somehow miao was in a straitjacket and she was doing strange things and jumping around in front of us. yeah my dreams are so weird.
okay anyway. after pre-o yesterday 8 of the spsls went for dinner at wisma food republic! and i cleverly decided to eat mutton briyani which gave me a bad stomachache today --" i didn't even get any stomach problems in india even though we ate mutton / curry so often. i shall never trust mutton from food courts again. today denise huihui and i were supposed to work on our post-trip OSL video but then we couldn't do anything in the end because we couldn't transfer videos from the video cam and we had no inspiration for our storyboard. haha so all we did was filter photos, choose songs and decide on the opening segment of the video. and then we ended up playing 3 kahkee bridge. HAHA. desperate la.

i had a nightmare last night because mr chu was in it. D: anyway dunno why the icyl ot was staying over in school, and it was past lights out time like during a typical night for the osl team in india, when mr thio would make his rounds to make sure everyone was asleep. except in this case mr thio was mr chu (hence the nightmare), the osl team was the icyl ot and our bungalow was block j. and i was in block j shared classrooms together with some of the icyl people. then the room opposite us was making a lot of noise and mr chu happened to be walking past so he flung open the door and screamed the whole school down, in typical mr chu style. so all the people in the shared classrooms were like walao eh turn off the lights and shut up! shhh! then suddenly it was 3am and i'd just finished doing orientation programme booklet (joy! but in reality it hasn't been finished yet) and i decided that i'd spend the rest of the morning doing smp. haha omg. then i dunno what happened.
retarded. i bet this is because i skived off work yesterday to finish watching 1 litre of tears and so all the shit that i have left to do came back and haunted me while i was asleep. x) anyway 1 litre of tears is DAMN SAD! but it's a really good show, really touching and free of cliches. and ok la kellie, asou-kun is quite cute x) and aya has such a cute face haha she's like a doll.

HA HA HA. today's rjc invites was the most retarded competition i've been to, because there were only 4 teams for women's foil and i think it's quite sad that we can only get gold at this kind of standard. x) haha the nus team is very nice though. today was the first time i've fenced in a month or something. D: and walao when i come back to singapore the coaches run off to china. best la. so what to do, train by ourselves tomorrow. ): apparently only a few foilists have been going down for self training xD

i am back after two weeks in kerala! i miss the food already ): anyway osl has really been a priceless experience that has taught me more than i could ever learn from an entire academic year. serving RPM high school, working as a team, facilitation sessions, observing the lifestyle of the people there have given me insights into the meaning of service, the joy of service, appreciation, being situationally aware and watching what you say, team dynamics, dealing with a variety of situations, happiness in simplicity, so much more. and even though i don't plan to apply to be a mentor next year, i love OSL INDIA and i'm going to miss everything in kerala.
running around with a broom trying to murder spiders and insects, facilitation, boring team debriefs, lighting the stupid stove with the strikebacks, burning our food and smoking up the entire kitchen, sitting with the entire team in the dining area for meals, eating with our hands, mango curry and payasam and cabbage and the round grain rice and the kerala meal at raghava panicker and the LUNCH AT THE COUNTRYSIDE (:, chopping onions till we cry, akhil and the bus driver, working on a last minute video that didn't even get screened, getting second and third helpings with my entire hungry group, painting the silly trees on the mural, students smiling and waving and mobbing us, interacting with the chinmaya students, CXC practices, sunning our mattresses everyday, squeezing the entire team in one RPM school bus, singing singapore songs on the bus, skipping shells and boating and singing during the countryside trip, eating coconuts, buffet marathon during the last two days, playing bridge till 3am at riviera suites, eating bottles of payasam, my crazy group, and the entire osl team.
group one! sheryl, kristin, arina, brenda, jasmine yam, shiya, hab, ME. yeah i guess we are kind of dysfunctional. we have brenda's burps and stupid moments, arina's soggy nose and strange sounds, sheryl's grossness, jasmine talking to herself and being a naggy aunty, kristin's singing and whining, shiya's laughing fits, hab's 'oh my god what am i doing with these bimbos' look, and everyone's hunger.
and OSL india! we have cute people from group 3 and helpful people from group 2 and hungry people from group 1. we didn't work that well together initially but the days brought us closer together and by the end of the trip we were sitting as a team and not as groups for meals and debriefs, and sitting on each other and singing in the tiny bus.
i am super sleepy now even though i spent the entire flight sleeping but i will tahan until tonight to avoid jetlag. i want mango curry! ):

DAY ONE!
1. haha met kylie my co-facil for the first time ever omg. before the first facils' briefing in the ks chee.
2. first time meeting in our homeroom! d221. it was so strange at first because we didn't know what to say x)
3. icebreakers! whacko and blow wind blow and human knot. in court shoes and formal u --"
4. opening ceremony! FLASH VIDEO (: haha I'M A ONE GIRL REVOLUTION.
5. impromptu cluster games hurhur hokey pokey. xD
6. orientation! i was station master with germaine at the CANTEEN (: we spent the whole of mr chu's training (which was supposed to be used for station masters to set up) eating leftover food and playing with candle wax.
7. and i cleverly left the pack of unfinished rice open so the bloody birds came over and then conveniently pooped on my file. x|
8. zeslene and other bored people came over and told spastic jokes and in the meantime my lousy lanyard broke. --"

icyl has been just crazy this entire week, photoshopping, editing, printing, screaming at the slow SLAC computers, thumbdrives all over the place, people dying of stress in the slac, ordering $118 worth of mac's, staying back late in school to staple and pack booklets, does anyone not need their internet connection? can i borrow a thumbdrive? do you need the computer?, waiting five minutes for a photoshop file to open, haha crazy but fun and i'll miss all of it when icyl is over. and things like rachel miao sleeping on the floor under all the cushions, lyn whining, yen and her friends (uh.) , sherrie being damn nice and lending me her thumbdrive all the time, grace chan dying in front of the handbook, rushing out a header within five minutes before going for fam, laminating lanyards, packing folders, playing katong laksa while waiting for ysi, being stuck in a traffic jam in a taxi at peak hour with nat, buying kimchi ramen in bulk and carrying it up to the slac, jiawen and shimin the crazy sec twos, drinking expired peach tea, marissa staying up till 3.30am in australia to do lanyards with me, michelle doing all kinds of pubs odd jobs, rushing to serene centre and back with rachel miao, I'M A ONE GIRL REVOLUTION, haha i love the icyl ot they are great people. (: and now there's only two days to icyl and the foreign delegates are arriving tomorrow. haha there are like a million things to read and internalise before monday and i don't feel very prepared, but kylie my co-fac is nice and responsible and gave me a detailed update since i've been missing facils' briefings and whatever. but i still don't know what she looks like xD
okay starting with thursday, which was a crazy day since lyn had to go for a funeral and the press release was at 3pm. haha but yes the OT comprises of really nice people THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT thanks a lot, haha for the sushi and the hugs and whatever i really appreciate it. (: after rushing out all kinds of rubbish yuanjun yingyan eileen and i went for FAM! haha i'm glad i got arrowed to be an usher after all because it was fun and damn cool. x) all the glam sec 4s and the performances (agogo band! pseudonym, DEBORAH TAN) and the FOOD which we didn't get to eat, and the psb photos (: haha and our secretariat heads photo, with candice and zhiying and kellie tan! which we took damn long to take. candice was damn cute in her polka dotted dress xD at the end of it all seventeen of us crammed into the damn mini hotel room. haha at first i slept on the bed, but then nat ended up sleeping on air and so we went to the bathroom (where eunice and jingyi were reading) to try and wipe the bathtub dry but we realised that since eunice and jingyi were in the bathroom there was space next to the bed, so we went back. but i ended up sleeping on the chair xD haha and dunno whose great idea it was to adjust the temperature to freaking EIGHTEEN DEGREES, walao and the chair was directly in front of the air con i nearly died. at about five-ish i was stepping on the bed trying to find a spot to sleep but nat and charlene the stupid pigs took up all the space. haha. next morning we went back to school early in the morning for MORE ICYL.
and so last night jiawen shimin yen grace chan and i stayed in school to print things. and the printing people are damn nice they had to stay back and put up with our ten thousand edits and requests. the stapling machine is damn cool! today, set-up day! love the lanyards (: and i get GREEN! which matches the card, the table that my group's sitting at in the hall, my group's folders, and the entire icyl! haha. the OT one is black though, which is cooler. x) but the back of the tshirt is damn gross. tomorrow i am gonna have to sit in a taxi with three vietnamese, oh no i hope they speak good english (: haha so exciting! i wish there were korean delegates xD maybe next year!
okay i think i need to go scrutinise and memorise the icyl programme now hur hur. BYE(:
my brother is an asshole and has assholes for friends! when i wasn't at home they came over, made a lot of noise and used my computer. and they have disgusting greasy fingers and so my keyboard became disgusting and greasy (but i've cleaned it already) AND they installed (hello?!) and a few days ago i went to vivocity with my mother and we ate at the overpriced food republic! it is an exciting place even though i paid six bucks for my lunch. and i ate bibimbap haha yay! so exciting. (oh no i think hanlyn is rubbing off on me. she says 'so exciting' at everything.)
and i've read the goong manhwa until volume 10 and it's the damn kancheong live interview now! but guess what, vol 11 and 12 scanlations aren't out yet. ): maybe i shall go buy the manhwa even if it's in chinese. or i should go learn korean. haha.

i am waiting for my icyl designs to download from yousendit. it has been downloading since 9:30 and is currently at 87%. GOGOGOGOGO!! i tell you, icyl is dominating my life AND MY COMPUTER. my icyl folder is bloody 777mb and once the designs download + once i finish all the lanyards, it will be something like ten thousand gig. eh the moon is very round tonight! everyone look out your windows.
icyl ot is made up of crazy people and especially PUBS COMM yay i love us. haha (: i think it's quite nice during lead camp when the slac is only semi-populated and everyone can play katong laksa while waiting for icyl designs to upload onto ysi. and it's very strange how during the weekend i'm always so free but whenever i step into the slac i have so many things to do.

CLASS SLEEPOVER!
kellie's condo is damn cool la, there is water everywhere. anyway i can't remember what we did at her house after having lunch at harbourfront centre. i think we played mahjong. OH YEAH before mahjong some perverts like qingyu and sheryl etc were watching SECRETARY which is an r-rated show. they started watching before we left for lunch. and after lunch a few of us decided that GOONG was a lot more decent and watched episode 9+ on kellie's computer, and when we came out, the rest of them were watching secretary A SECOND TIME. D:
whatever, we played mahjong! and mahjong, and more mahjong. i was damn stressed and breathless and dying of heart attack all the time, because stupid lami loves hu2-ing with no value while the rest of us are waiting for the last card for our 3 double win. xD then walao, i wanted to take breaks in between by running into the computer room to watch goong, but the bunch of them locked themselves in there lah! and after dinner everyone needed a break and so we went to play FOOSBALL in the games room, during which i was stressed and breathless and dying of heart attack all the same. and it is such a stupid game with a stupid name, i never imagined i'd enjoy playing it. it's actually fun especially with stupid screaming people like sexy and dancing and jumping people like kellie and loserchen.
after that it was back to MAHJONG until about 1am, then all the mahjong kahkis ran away or something so i went to watch goong with the goong people! until um, 7.30 am. they're pro la marathon the whole day from episode 9 all the way to the last episode (24)! HAHA. but ffwded a lot of it. i actually tried to get some sleep at 2.30 in the master bedroom but it was too noisy and i was hungry, anyway. yeah when parts of goong got boring i bummed around with the bridge people, ate chocolate cake / chocolate / biscuits, and tried recognising mahjong tiles by feel with kellie HAHA. eh we are not bad okay! and we played a bit of taboo.

and yes, we finally finished episode 24 at 7.30 am, and all the goong people went to sleep until 8.30 am haha. crazy class la omg. today after breakfast there was FOOD pass the parcel, walao shallow's great idea lah. the chilli didn't work out in the end though because it made loserchen puke. D: and the rest of the day was GOONG EXTRAS (haha) and mahjong and attempts to build cardhouses and TURTLE MAHJONG? a dumb game invented for bored people with no mahjong kahkis.

yes eoys are over and i am posting one day late because yesterday i was busy watching goong. xD haha shin and chaegyung make me happy! : D hooray. eoys were generally okay, and they passed by really quickly, though some were major screw-ups. haha but whatever, next week there's CLASS SLEEPOVER haha YAY. and a whole bunch of other stuff! yes. but now it's post-eoy period, i have 1001 things to do (AGAIN). haha but you know what, i'm gonna watch goong first.
haha i am really not in any mood for studying. today was so celebratory / sentimental! haha first there was our last ss block, which was our first and last lesson with mr jalleh! haha. i must say it was a lot more tolerable than the usual lessons with Colman. and i guess jalleh's quite nice to do what he can to salvage the state of ss in Colman's three classes. xD then there was math, during which we ate non-stop because ms kum let us. : D yeaa and we're all hoping she'll follow us up to sec four next year. x)
recess, lihua and i got to work with finishing our LotF comic. then assembly was classroom clean-up! (: this means no more sitting with my loser group )): haha but guess what! loserchen is still sitting next to me x) i tell you, we are fated to be together! we have been sitting next to each other since term two :O and now there is NO MORE DECOR in our classroom ): ): ): haha then rs, we helped a bunch of sec 4s with their filming thingo. and when they needed to use the entire classroom, we all went outside and the class played taboo for the rest of the block LOL. while loserchen and i frantically chionged our failure comic. xD
and during lit we finished up all the lotf mini presentations they were HILARIOUS : D and all our effort drawing and colouring and cutting paid off mann. our comic was 10000 miles long and everyone laughed at it. hoho. lol then we had the GOLDing awards and miss chia wore a black tube dress and black gloves! :O:O haha but she put in damn a lot of effort lah, everyone got these ice cream stick things and additional prizes corresponding to their presentation. yeah can you imagine her twining the golden starry twine thing around the ice cream sticks and cutting out the big gold stars individually! and yes it was her last lesson with us and her last lesson in rgs, and (you may think i'm joking but i'm NOT!) i'm sad to see her leave. TOTALLY. i guess i finally understand why she gets annoyed when we don't complete homework, because it really doesn't do justice to the mountains of effort that she puts in for every lesson.
i don't know la. my attitude towards her has been fluctuating throughout the year. at first i liked her, then i started hating her, but after she gave us her inspirational 'literature is life!' talk, i liked her again. then at the start of term four she seemed really @#*$)(# again and i didn't like her. but the last week of lessons has been really great. and so i conclude that i like her. xD yeah well i feel bad for having called her names and being disrespectful for the better part of this year, i guess we misread her intentions back then. i'm actually very grateful for having been taught by her this year. but then now she's leaving, and i'll miss her lessons (no really), her damn thick and zor deng packages, her perpetual siaodingdong grin, her 'i'm so excited!' attitude, wasting paper to photocopy stuff, and above all, doing stupid things like finishing homework in the corridor and standing on chairs at the back of class.

last week of lessons. i'll save my farewell 315 post to the last bit of the year x) i feel very lucky that we're the very last batch that's still split into gep and mainstream. and this is not about being elitist, because i know for a fact that by intellectual capability, i don't belong to the gep. haha x) but yeah i feel really sorry for the sec 1 and 2 gep (i just found out today ok, don't say i'm slow!) it's like they'll no longer be with this entire group that they've been with since p4. i don't really know how to describe gep, but it's just this identity and a whole culture of its own. yeah dunno la. aiya whatever i'm very muddled now. i shall stop thinking about these and return to the more factual things. hello, i realise we seriously have not learned anything of substance for bio this entire year, and the only time we learn is when we study for tests. D: it was the same for evolution because all the stuff that we needed to know for EOI, i learned from the summary on inet. and now the only reason i'm not dying for bio EOY is because of candice's gigantic textbook like an encyclopaedia that i am most grateful for. : D and i spent the entire morning and early afternoon studying bio today, but the only complete topic i've finished is HOMEOSTASIS, which i think is the biggest topic but which we hardly learned anything about. the entire class didn't know what a nephron is until yesterday's revision.
i have finished studying 0 / 3 sciences, and i have not started on lit, or ss, or math or chinese. dieded. o__0
yesterday was CLASS PARTY during cle! haha. and kellie melly lami and i played mini mahjong with kellie's mini mahjong set which is so mini that one desk provides enough space for 4 people to play. and there was so much food! haha yay : D
our class tee will be PINK PINK PINK, totally cool and outstanding. xD regardless of sexy's and kristen's objections. x)

i haven't blogged all weekend. have been studying physics and chemistry, but i haven't finished because my physics file is in school, and because there is so very much to study for chem even though i have been studying chem for a week. and i have not started on bio, because WHERE IS MY BIO JOURNAL??? ms tan kidnapped our journals and never returned them.
in between i have been youtubing with GOONG! which is a fun show, except the crown prince wears a (hot) pink suit sometimes, and i have only watched 2 episodes.
friday's aesthetics was the last lesson and it was lousy except for the desserts! we did english and french in one lesson so we ended at 6+. and the roast chicken is really dumb lah, there's only salt and pepper as marinade. then chicken a la king uses campbell's soup --" haha. and our souffle caved in! but it was quite nice.
these are the science books that i have at home: world of physics, chemistry matters, chem 10 year series, bio 10 year series. but WHERE IS THE BIO TEXTBOOK? D: sigh.
i am secretly hoping that the haze will be so bad on friday that school will close for a day, because friday is a useless day that can be used for studying. but apparently the haze is going to clear by mid-month, and anyway, it doesn't seem all that bad already. yeah.

today's chem lesson was the last one with month before june before our eoys. D: AAAAAHHHH why does she always have to leave a week before exam! and today sucked because we had triple xiexie. .___.
after school loserchen, grace y, thea tan and i stayed back to study, but the latter two left after a short while because thea tan claimed she wouldn't be able to get anything done in school, and grace went with her just so she could have someone to walk to the bus stop with. x) THEN! stupid thea tan left her Chemistry Matters on kristen's table, and loserchen discovered it after coming back from doing her math next door. SO! i had to run to the covered walkway to deliver it. x| stupid thea tan. anyway i studied chem! not really. i did acids and bases exercises that were given a long time ago.
and at 5+ loserchen decided to go to sleep. before she went to sleep i was complaining that you could even smell the haze IN THE CLASSROOM. and she said really meh! she didn't believe me. so she nearly opened the window to smell the haze, but i said NO! and told her to go outside to smell it. she went to sleep first. when she woke up she looked at me and asked 'what are you doing here?' and i gave her a --" look. LOL. after a while she stood up and said, 'OH, i have to go and smell the haze!' so she went outside the classroom to smell the haze. o___0 after smelling the haze she decided to go back to sleep, but then at 545 we had to leave because the security guard was coming around to lock up the classrooms.
then my mother told me she could only pick me at 645, and me being the lazy person decided against taking a bus. so i went to study in the psb room, and i tell you, it is extremely difficult to focus on studying there, because every few minutes your leg starts to feel itchy and when you look down there is an ant crawling on your shoe and there are ants all over the floor. so you have to spend the next half a minute killing ants before you can go back to studying. SIGH. our room seriously needs cleaning up.
for once i am sad that Colman is not coming tomorrow, because instead of Colman, jalleh is coming in for our block. D: yes okay it is time to go do math.

french was alright, but the invigilator sucked. firstly, he said it was 3.05 pm when it was 3.08 pm. then, he didn't even tell us that compr?hension orale was gonna start, and just turned on the cd player. so everyone was frantically flipping their papers to find the page. when there were 20 minutes left, he said there were 15. when there were 10 minutes left, he said there were 5. and after the 5 minutes, he said 'oops i made a mistake you have 5 more minutes'. AND FINALLY, he shortchanged us of 3 minutes, because he started at 3.08 pm according to my watch and ended at 3.05 pm. k nevermind.
just now when my mother saw me looking at photos, she asked me, 'what photos you looking at?'

i'm rather confused and muddled at present, but that aside, the week has been okay. this is with the exception of seeing xiexie every day of the week, and stupid joelynn moving house today.
on monday candice gave me a huge bag of chocolates! : D THANK YOUUU. very much! i currently have a snickers bar, a pack of TIM TAM, toblerone, and i forgot what else left. haha it is good sustenance for late nights. CANDICE HERE IS YOUR SHOUTOUT! thanks for everything you've given me and sec-c this year, be it material or not. haha like bendy 30cm long pencils, strawberry and jelly-topped cake, notebooks pencils whatever. and more than that, for your guidance, support, effort, commitment, patience, ENTHUSIASM for the comm! thanks for believing in chalet, and being there to keep our spirits up throughout the 3 days even though things didn't turn out perfect. AND I SHALL VERY MUCH MISS sec-c saturdays, sitting on the canteen floor in a circle and digressing all the time. as well as chalet planning, SUSHI, sleepovers! but sec-c 07 will still be the most enthusiastic, because i say so. : D the only difference will be the comm rotations. but everyone who comes into our comm will not leave without feeling the spirit of sec-c! yesterday athena, joelynn and i spent our afternoon at frutta la viva for a farewell joelynn study session. x) i blew ten dollars on two cups of gelato and one brownie topped with mango gelato. .__. but they were good, ok. right now stupid joelynn is in her new room in the faraway land of katong, which is 10000 miles away, i swear. it feels very strange knowing that she is not around here. i know she will totally miss our estate because our estate is a perfect one with gelaterias and cake shops and eateries and shophouses! just a stone's throw away. haha. : D

so the PTs are all over, and we survived the week (: even though 3 people were absent on wednesday, and seven had left school by the end of yesterday, and quite a few people didn't sleep last night, yes 315 survived and it is OVER!OVER! and only barbara chow didn't come to school today. ): and she has MC until monday, so cham. this also means that i have no lab partner (again!) on monday. haha.
and since the PTs are all over, it's time to start mugging. today sheryl loh inspired me to mug hard, because she told me she has a studying schedule. so i have decided that it is a good idea to have one and mug for a month, and ultimately it will all pay off. : D i shall come up with a schedule tonight and studying shall start tomorrow. no i am not being a mugger, just i can't afford to lose anymore marks for math, physics, chinese and lit, or else the higher powers in psb will come and hunt me down.

YSC rehearsal was a big waste of time because we had to wait so long to present then wait so long for results to be released. i only managed to get half a compre done and read the first page of QA notes. sigh. well presentation and q&a weren't as bad as i thought they would be, and the questions were actually quite easy to answer since the judges didn't exactly understand our project at first. haha.
after the presentation i went to the canteen / vending machine area where kimberly anne and the 316ers and some others were eating. and they have this cool sandwich vending machine that makes sandwiches for you in one minute. how cool is that. and i stuck the sticked from the sandwich on kim anne, and she knew i stuck it on her back, but ten seconds later she forgot it was there and didn't take it off for another five minutes. --"
after coming back home from ngee ann we went to mac's for dinner and i met ALBERTA LOW there! haha my primary three classmate. and she recognised me but i didn't recognise her at first cos she looks so different. haha how cool.

tomorrow's spsb training steals my fencing training and money again, damn. WHY MUST ALL THE COMPULSORY PSB STUFF BE ON THURSDAYS AND TUESDAYS, from the start of the year until now it has been that way. go and die please, waste my money. AAAAAAAAAAA.

bubu and my cat are so funny. they cannot get along at all because my cat is so hostile, she growls whenever bubu comes within a one foot radius of her. today she whacked bubu on the head from under the table in the patio, so she howled and yelped and covered her face, then decided she didn't want to try making friends with my cat anymore. xD i don't know if we can keep her though, my parents don't seem keen on the prospect of a cat and a dog fighting in their household everyday as well as having to clean up after a dog everyday, so they insist my sister brings her back to the shop tomorrow. haha i don't know what will happen though. x)
i am damn dead for math tomorrow because i can hardly complete the FA. bye. : D
HA HA. my household has a new member called BUBU. xD she is a 2 month old schnauzer that my sister brought home a couple of hours ago and she is DAMN CUTE. our cat (who is still nameless) doesn't seem too keen though. haha. bubu is smaller than our cat and is black in colour with grey eyebrows so she looks like an old man. my father says she looks like a wookie, ha ha. (as in the furry things from star wars). she doesn't seem to like the cat either.

STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN with my kwon sang woo whom i didn't get to see because i was running around orchard road during urban hike like the rest of psb. ):

i know this post is severely overdue, but yes here is my mandatory post-psltc / selection camp post anyway. i am glad to say that psltc was a success and a BLAST and i was spsl of TSUNAMI! which consists of me, zeslene, tammy, ruixin, yitong, jasselyn, reshmi, jiawen, limei and yidan. : D
day one started with registration and ICEBREAKERS! then decorating of the walls, and then DISC profiling. i am I, S which is just about the most common profile in psb xD following which, LUNCH which was nasi lemak and since there were so many leftover packets nat and i ate an extra packet each and held up the entire training by miss rona tan .___. oops. following training (which i shall decline to comment on) was team-building games! and dinner, and night surprise which rocked. at the third station all the spsls were hiding in strange places in j block doing strange things to try to scare psls. so charlene and i stood in the spsl room trying to scare people with my face and her torchlight but we waited and waited and nobody walked past --" lol! meanwhile the rest of the board was sitting on the track outside talking rubbish and we started playing black sheep white sheep and HAI DAI hahaha psb chalet? xD
after night surprise the psls went off to bathe and sleep and whatever. and after the spsls bathed we went back to the room and counted down to char's birthday! and at 12am on 3rd september we sang her birthday song xD went for supper at the canteen and then we went to the basketball courts to play with SPARKLERS yay. : D and char is so deprived it was her first time.
next morning there was mr chu's training and URBAN HIKE! damn tiring la. hahaha marissa is damn evil she made my group stay in their poses for nine minutes xD haha sighh. and there was the CHICKEN DANCE haha jialat. after the batch item was over we went to eat at the plaza sing food court and i made a huge mistake in buying suan la mian from the taiwanese stall, wth. it was damn freaking hot. and we were all full after dinner but we still bought a tub of frozen yoghurt from carrefour and ate it outside ps before going back to school. o___0
back at school there was debrief and halfway through spsb debrief CANDICE arrived! haha. : D following that was psb debrief and reflections, then they went to sleep and we went back to our room to write letters and watch she's the man. and when she's the man ended, guess what the rest of them wanted to watch? AQUAMARINE, haha omg. so anyway candice and i ran off to the amphi because marissa and zeslene slept there the first night and said it was nice, so yes we went there at about 0145 and joelynn came along at about 2. and wth 15 minutes after we got there i got bitten really badly by some unknown insect --" but yes it was nice to sleep in the amphi i didn't even hear marissa's phone ringing at 530 so i ended up waking up at 630.
breakfast, and we were just getting started on reflections when i left for registration for selection camp. went back to jblock with yen halfway through initiation and yay candice initiated me and dotted my dolphin. : D she doesn't know how to pin my badge la. haha. lighted our tealights and had song singing : D and then i left again! ): i had to sit in front of the food in the canteen it was a damn tragic job la because i was so hungry but i couldn't eat. so i decided to go to sleep in front of the food. hurhur.
lunch was lousy, sheesh i am never ordering from there again. what a letdown. they catered buffet for chalet and it was not bad! bish. following lunch was scenario discussion, and then OM100 walao run around school again. --" but it was good! went smoothly. reflections were after that, then dinner which was even lousier WALAO. and then 'reflections part 2' = night surprise! and then reflections part 3. haha. my group 2 got THIRD for OM100 haha yaye. stayed back for a while to count money then went back to the spsb room. i was the last to roll up my sleeping bag at 945pm --" and so many people left their towels behind! haha damn gross. and ada left her slippers outside. so we crammed everything into a plastic bag and left it in the psb room. oh dear.
okay yes mandatory post-psltc / selection camp post is over! i'd like to blog about lit today but it's dinner time bye.
hahaha. there was psltc urban hike dry run today, it was fun save for the fact that we had to run around orchard road to all the different stations. at wheelock (one of the stations) there was this busker with his kid there and the kid came over and scolded us for making noise. --"
after dry run i decided i wanted to go to bugis to buy sparklers and the glue bubble thingos. haha. joelynn was nice and accommodated my crazy whims despite her extreme lethargy, so anyway yes we went to bugis and searched high and low for arab street (okay not really, we just asked for directions). yes and i bought 32 tubes of the bubble things for a dollar, because joelynn was smart and found them. : D and i bought sparklers too! yay yay yay.
now i am eating koko krunch so that i can use the cereal box for tomorrow. hooray.
no i have not packed yet, and i am feeling all of excited and uncertain and unprepared for tomorrow. haha (: i feel so free now, because i don't feel like doing any work, but i should be doing something seeing as i have two out of nine days of holiday free in the coming week. hurhur.

happy teachers' day : D this morning after celebrations half of 315 ran around the school trying desperately to find elusive teachers so we could give them our cookies and cards. haha the concert was really good especially sexy+naomi, pseudonym, and the highly popular skit haha (: lol i really liked kum to the sandi beach! xD and TAN1 HAI4 NI3! hahaha and 'paula huang! mei you SHI JIAN le!' haha omg.
we presented zhangzhang and ms kum with their frames containing our handprints! haha they were really touched x) and ms kum's kid is so cute! she had this perpetual frown the whole time like 'what's going on what the hell am i doing here?' and she didn't make any noise haha. and when i commented that my hand is as big as her face, loserchen said 'that means she has cancer!!' haha omg. eh but loserchen is damn nice she lent me her thumbdrive with our smp poster in it so i could finally get it onto my computer :D haha.
after celebrations and such was selection camp briefing, then psltc briefing / dry run! urban hike was nearly not approved but thank goodness now it is just they need to change scenarios and whatever. if it were cancelled then it would be chalet all over again! and i'd be so sad for prog comm. :/

after lit had lunch with some of the fifteeners, mostly those who were staying back for english orals. i hope they went well! haha maybe they brought back another full marks for our class. anyway i must really control my temptation to buy food when i see other people eating it. because today, i started off lunch with rice from stall 7 and then strawberry jelly, following which thea tan sitting opposite me bought chocolate pudding and i couldn't resist so i bought one, and then melissa bought passion fruit and pear yoghurt drink, so i decided that i'd have one too. once again, here i am trying to tally the number of names i have with the number of names in my groupings. my very excruciatingly put together namelist in alphabetical order tells me there are 87 names, but there are these two stupid extra names in the groupings and i don't know what they are. i am reminded of a certain sunday night when marissa and i sat in jiacong's living room with the burning laptop trying to count the number of names in the chalet groupings, ha ha. admin is NOT brainless work after all. i want to die. i am going to redo my groupings. wth.
you know what jiaolian said to me yesterday. i was trying to explain to her why i wouldn't be at training tomorrow (because of PSLO) but i didn't know how to say orientation in chinese, so i told her, 'wo bu zhi dao zen me yong hua yu jiang orientation'. and she said, 'wa, ni de hua yu hao lan o.' i am not going to be able to get anything done on my computer tonight because 'Your Computer is in Danger!' or so the red icon with the white cross in the corner of my screen claims. this is my brother's computer i'm using now. my own has been infected with some anonymous virus. it was completely okay yesterday! i am devastated. very much so. and no, i did not make backup copies of my files because when i first tried storing all my files in the Portable Hard Disk Drive that my father acquired from i don't know where, either 1. i was too stupid, or 2. it didn't work, and thus i didn't manage to backup my stuff. shitz. i hope my computer can be fixed or i am so dead. but thanks to gmail, at least our chinese PT presentation has not been lost. i realise that i haven't blogged about fencing sec 4 farewell! which was fun. charlene's family was damn nice for putting up with us on thursday night. got there at 6 and uh, took a lift from elaine right before getting to her house --" haha damn lame ok. helped blow and tie up balloons YAY we filled the entire railing / fence / gate and had leftovers. there were 144 balloons o__0 i took back a white heart-shaped one! haha. there was so much to eat for dinner, walao. haha the food was not bad! some of it at least. after dinner all of us sat in charlene's living room and watched singapore idol results show. and the last two left were rahimah and paul (who looked damn shocked --") and so we were all screaming for paul to get off even though rahimah is largely disliked among the fencers too, haha.
oh i must tell you this, yesterday after fireworks at city hall mrt joelynn met her friend and his friend had hair exactly like paul twohill's, it was damn gross.
anyway after singapore idol we didn't exactly have anything to do so we went out to the road and played a few games of what's the time, mr wolf? and AEIOU. fencers are cool man. (y) following which we went back in and ate apple crumble made by charlene YAY THANKS. and there wasn't much else after that because people started leaving and we gave the tweety bird / blues clues / elmo / big bird balloons to the sec 4s! haha. so cute. then zishan jerlyn and the BF club (BIMBO FRIENDS CLUB consisting of charmaine huirong adeline) and i were the only ones left and we spent the rest of the time trying to take photos of us jumping in mid-air and throwing our balloons up. haha spastic shit! xD anyway charmaine's mother is very nice she sent me adeline and huirong back! haha. yay.

i just read efoo's blogposts and shit they are making me cry. seems over the past week it's not just our class, but everyone else who's learnt a lot. this morning Xie Hui Min Laoshi gave us a talk during lit, in her words, 'to encourage'. and it was nice of her to do that la. i was really touched too and i guess it's totally changed my impression of her. i don't know if it's just a strategy she's using to make us feel bad, but the way it's been put across to me it really doesn't seem that way and i don't want it to be that way. and really from the bottom of my heart i am going to put in more effort into everything our teachers expect of us. and this may be a really fragmented post so sorry but i'm kinda in a. dunno. emotional state now xD i'm really glad for having been put in 315, and like lihua said, at the start of the year we all thought we were a super mugger, boring, cheem class, but over the past 7 months i've seen threefifteen grow closer, i've seen every one of us contributing to the class and being a part of this awesome group of people.
sometime mid-year i thought our teachers really sucked but now i think they're a fantastic bunch and they've really got our interests at heart. (toilet break. i need to blow my nose.) and i think our teachers really do try very hard and similarly they want us to try too. i don't think we've done justice to them, but now isn't too late to improve. at the start of the year i nearly fainted when i heard that zhangzhang was our form teacher, partly because i was embarrassed to see him because i got 88/200 for my EOY 2005. but as i look back now i'm very grateful for having him as a form teacher because he cares a lot about us, and he understands. i'm similarly grateful for the rest of our teachers (with the exception of maybe Colman) for trying to help us improve in their own unique ways, be it telling us we're the stupidest creatures on earth or talking to us for entire half hours.
i love threefifteen. they are the loveliest class i could ever get landed in. they're noisy, wacky, sleepy, fun, nice, caring, supportive, full of class spirit and essentially 315. today xie hui min laoshi only listed a few names under 'these people just have a kind heart' but i think everyone in 315 does have a kind heart. they're always there to help out, always there to be retarded, always there to put in their best for the class. it really is what keeps us going for whole days in school. i don't want to leave this class after next year, no.
over the past week when everything seemed to be going like shit for us, we went through it together, offered encouragement, smiles, i love yous, hugs, and 'i love 315's. i think it's really helped us to bond.(: and everyday, when we go through the trivialities of school life together, sit at recess tables together, laugh at lame puns together, kena scoldings together, are stupid together, don't know the unit for pressure together, share food, share ss notes, cheer for S-E-X-Y during softball, i feel 315 is so much a part of me.

(oh, joy!) when we begged her for an extension to friday (in view of our scary math SA on thursday) she said 'okay i will give you time to write it in class tomorrow then the rest of the groups can present on thursday. so your essay will be due on thursday.' and after class when leong and i again begged her for an extension to friday, she said 'er, see how much you can finish in class tomorrow lah.' and because of her we were totally late for bio again. i pity miss tan bc. she always has Miss ____ before her block.

i hate this. the rule is a stupid one. for the uninformed, the rule is that every school can only send 4 fencers per event, which is really dumb since there are the same number of schools participating as you would have in the ZONALS for a more recognised sport. okay let's count the schools (women's foil). rgs, smss, bpghs, prc, tanglin. i.e. 20 participants, and in team event, 6 teams. how retarded is that -__- and we are selecting 4 out of 9 for b div foil, which awful sucks. yeah it's so every school gets an equal chance, but 4 fencers really is very little. we should sign a petition or something. okay i need to continue with nday stuff and Chia's Rubbish.

hello. my to-do list is completely filled up i.e. there is no more space on the paper and less than half of the items are ticked. this spells a lack of sleep for the next two nights, because i just wasted my whole saturday morning, noon, afternoon, evening at our most delightful open house, during which i sat at booths and got bored, and sat at more booths and got more bored, and ushered stupid p6s who don't say thank you, and gave this random guy a tour around the school beacuse he asked me to give him a tour around the school, and he wouldn't let me off until he was done talking to me about rgs moving to bishan because our campus is too small, and about how his daughter from nanyang is coming in to rgs through dsa, and how the nanyang girls' campus is nice and big. the highlight of the day was sitting in the staff lounge with kimberly-anne and picking nasi lemak from the boxes and putting the boxes back in the plastic bags when the teachers weren't in the lounge. the poor OM and DI performances got a bit screwed up because it was really noisy in the hall, and on top of that the mikes were really lousy. i realise this has been a very long paragraph with six sentences in total, and as such i shall insert a line break here.

1. today, naomi yang came into 315 during rs and we played bingo like we used to when we were sitting next to each other last year. xD

3. head prefect election results were out today, CONGRATS hannah cheng! (and xiner, yanhan, kristin!)
4. during lit, we had to come up with an island of our own as in lord of the flies, except we were supposed to be the inhabitants of the island. so our island is named Li Hua's Island, and its inhabitants are Li Hua's disciple #1 (me), Li Hua's disciple #2 (thea tan), Li Hua's last disciple (victoria), The Unbeliever (kristen), and Li Hua, the Lord of Li Hua's Island.
5. ___ totally sucks. GUESS WHO!
6. i am starting to like math lessons because log is fun and because pullout lessons are especially fun, plus they make you feel smart.
7. maria and i (half of nday pubs comm) got killed by mrs ___ on wednesday morning for not sending regular updates. at first it was just me and mrs ___ and two mentors but ten minutes later maria came along and saved me. :D as such i have to spend my weekend dying in front of nday rubbish.
8. i super love our bio pt! especially the video it is terribly amusing. xD sexy and i have yet to get the video from hannah! anyway miss tan liked our presentation. :D she'd better man, we lost so much sleep over it. actually everyone did.
9. tomorrow is open house. what a waste of my time. i hate primary sixes who run around and make a lot of noise and ask a lot of questions. the only thing i'm looking forward to is the performances :D after math and OM!

sigh. let me tell you something stupid i did. i chose 'bread, white' on hpb's recipe analysis for the analysis of stall 5's burgers, and specified 2 wholes thinking that it was 2 slices. for 2 days i wondered why the stupid calorie and carbohydrate and sodium content of the food was so high. and today while i was halfway through doing the critical analysis of the food, i realise that 2 wholes meant 2 loaves of bread, white. yeah. now i don't know what to criticise about their food. o__0
anyway. yesterday was flag day and i went flag-selling with kellie and denise. and we walked to sentosa except we got chased out after an hour. how tragic. and that was my first time in over ten years that i went to sentosa. and i saw the merlion for the first time in my life. omg. (or at least if i did before, i have no memory of it.) after taking the bus back from sentosa we hung around outside harbourfront centre. there was this once when i said 'excuse me sir' to some guy and he replied 'SIR, SIR, NO JOB LA.' o___0 we subsequently got chased away from harbourfront centre and so we ended up at a nearby bus shelter until 2.25 when we went back to outram park.
okay flag-selling is fun, i must say.
i want to complain about ah chia now but i shall not waste time. on friday she called a whole group of 315ers up to tell us about the pitiful state she was in because we 'aren't putting in enough effort'. and i was there just because i wrote my name and thea's name wrongly on her lovely Cooperative Learning Essay Evaluation Sheet. oops. i wasn't supposed to waste time. okay i will go do bio pt now.

i realise that if i am not to die from physics overload tomorrow night (which is highly likely seeing as i am going for after math and my physics file is non-existant), i have to finish writing 5 of my 6 physics journals tonight. the only physics journal i wrote this entire year (which i thought i threw away but which i thankfully didn't) was on A World Without Standard Measurements (yes, fascinating) which i wrote when i was still an enthusiastic Ms-Ning-Is-Such-A-Lovely-Teacher-Let's-Do-All-Her-Monthly-Journals noob sec 3 in, surprise surprise, January. (y) and yes, my physics file IS non-existant, and i kind of don't know how to fill in lots of rectangular blanks in my diagnostic quiz which became a post-topic quiz which was due, like, last term. there's also that practical that i haven't drawn my graph for which was also due last term. serves me right for slacking the whole of yesterday away on the pretext that i was sick. :D (by the way, this is on top of a mountain of other shit like Indices and Coordinate Geometry (YES OUR CLASS IS STILL STRUGGLING WITH IT DON'T LAUGH) and Chinese and, i'm sure there's a lot more that i can't remember right now.)

i am in such a state of confusion after coming back from chalets and i don't know what to do or where to start, i open my inbox and there are emails from campaign, dwen an (oh dear i need to improve my chinese!), smp, all i have in my head now is the llama song, i think the other people are feeling the same way too, nevermind i hope i don't die :D
so the turnout for psb chalet was really sad, but nevertheless thank you so much to the people who came :D the entire sec-c, nat, minjia, sherrie, zhiying, limin, chermaine, andrea, kevy, yenlin(tan), joelynn, yenlin(teng), shihua, xianying, shuhan, deborah, yufang, giraffe, kimberley(chong), ..anyone else? haha especially to minjia nat and yufang who stayed for the entire thing ((: and also to the people who couldn't make it but told us to have fun anyway hahaha. okayy so on the 18th was sleepover at jia's, we did souvenirs, pass the parcel, bbq preparation haha marinating chicken. x)
at about 130 left for the chalet IT WAS SUPER NICE LA. tammy's father brought us to check in :D and it was $75 a night only. THANKS FOR BOOKING IT FOR US PINGFANG. xD three bedrooms three toilets one mahjong room one kitchen one living room.((: put up the banner and unpacked our stuff and then sat around and waited for people to come hehehe. super pathetic but nevermind x) we didn't carry out the entire day one programme (not like we did for the other days) except for barbecue! aha. __ crashed. --" tmd lah our night surprise totally didn't work out. before that was water bombing! we wanted to bomb __ but they ran into the house so ended up psls bombing spsls. HEH.
after cleaning up, played MAHJONG with char marissa candice wenyu nat deb etc until 430 wth and went to sleep. haha some of the spsls didn't sleep cos they wanted to catch the sunrise or something. .__. woke up at about 830 and had breakfast and somehow a cake design competition which wasn't a competition in the end, HAHA. it was one of the three things that we didn't scrape. the other two were barbecue and pass the parcel x) and then there was more mahjong! and more mahjong. until lunchtime WALAO SO MANY PACKS LEFTOVER omg. then then then. went cycling after lunch! for an hour. and some time after we got back to the chalet kevy yenlin andrea chermaine vivian arrived! :D then a whole bunch of them fried / microwaved leftover chicken from barbecue for the whole day. and the rest of us played mahjong (again) and i spent half the time laughing at char/nat's HAI DAI AH HAI DAI and BLACK SHEEP BAA WHITE SHEEP BAA BAA and CHICKEN IS EATING. XD
dinner arrived at 4 o__0 because the programme stated that dinner and bathing time was concurrent which was 4-7! ahaha. and dinner was mini buffet catered for 30 people (expected turnout on day 2 = 38) and there were below 20 people? HEH so we had a lot of food leftover. omg super wasted! i felt so xin tong. after dinner was mahjong. and we went to the park/playground! then pass the parcel! so lame. x) watched some of DACHANGJIN and then played our i have never.. game so we could finish up our drinks! :D and there was more mahjong, omg play until stupid. until 3 when we went to bathe and sleep. (me nat bocky marissa charlene limin). and i slept from 330 - 415 except the other people were making a lot of noise and i was sweating like crazy my whole sleeping bag and mattress were wet o__0 and we ended up talking until 645 when we finally went to sleep.
then we were supposed to wake up at 730 but guess what we woke up at 815! check out was at 9 so we rushed and cleaned up etc. and after the checkout woman came to check the chalet we went to sit outside the chalet. some people went home and the rest of us sat around and waited and tried to decide what to do next (amazing race was scraped). and after asking 'so what shall we do?' for 45 minutes we decided to go watch a movie at orchard.:D watched almost love just because of kwon sang woo with limin natalie charlene yufang felicia HAHA it's another retarded show that i blasted $7 on. it's so super lame and funny and spastic but it's nice lah. since we were feeling cold and the cinema had hardly anyone in it we sat in the fourth row and laid out all our sleeping bags to keep warm. HAHA SO RETARDED OKAY! ksw's hair sucks in the show because he acts as a stuntsman who does taekwondo too and he wants to be like jackie chan so he styles his hair after jackie chan's. x) and char is so funny she started doing sit-ups in the middle of everything so she could stay awake. after the movie we wanted to take photo but we got chased out by the staff before we could do anything. folded our sleeping bags in the corridor and laughed at our own stupidity. xD
finally got out of the cinema and bumped into kellie x) haha we were super unglam with our shorts and sleeping bags and huge bags. went to bk with nat and waited for them to be done with their guides stuff (JIAYOU OKAY) and omg went back to pasir ris with hanhuirong! spastic please. x)
fencing chalet was another low-turnout programme-kena-scraped chalet-turned-mahjong-session chalet, and so what did we do? play mahjong. we had barbecue also which was more successful than psb chalet bbq i must say.(: even though the fire took really long to start. we had super super nice marshmallows roasted by grace(yeo)! ahaha. i was the first one to go to sleep after mahjong session. at 11+ :D then at 1245 they left me alone at the chalet and went to downtown east to buy i dunno what! ): haha but i fell asleep right after they left and didn't even wake up when they went to sleep la. eileen and wanlin stayed up the whole night cleaning the bbq pit area? and because they didn't have space. something like that. except the next morning someone told them we didn't need to clean the bbq area because the staff would do it.
oh and i forgot to mention! fencing chalet was at costa sands, damn sad la $120 and twenty thousand times smaller than the PA pasir ris holiday bungalow for psb chalet. hahaha. no wonder eileen and wanlin didn't have space to sleep. x) stoned around for a bit and watched blues clues .__. and played card games and went home. haha so no life. xD

hello. let me tell you the story about the nomads of sec-c. so there was sec-c meeting at subway today, where we ate candice's (SUPER NICE ISLAND CREAMERY) cake bought by marissa for half an hour before beginning our meeting. a half hour later we were chased out of subway for making too much noise. so we decided to go sit on the floor of the second level of far east next to the water fountain, and we were subsequently chased away by the greenman who wanted to mop the floor. so we moved to gelare which wasn't opened yet, and continued our meeting in the dark. (so much for secret.) but it opened sometime later, so we finally left and went to sit at the white benches. and concluded our meeting.(: hahaha.
when giraffe and joelynn arrived we went to plaza sing to check out the movie timings, except they weren't good timings, so we walked to cathay (see we turned nomadic again) and took lightyears to decide what movie to watch. we finally settled on r.v. which was at 12.35 which was a really lame and funny show which we blasted $7 on which you should / shouldn't watch, depending on whether you love laughing at silliness or you enjoy movies with content. xD it's really good for bonding though. (Y) haha xD
and the show bore resemblance to our sec-c sleepover! because jojo who acts in r.v. acted in aquamarine too which we watched during sleepover. and we didn't realise it was her until they showed the credits. and there was one scene where the mother ties a cherry stem with her mouth. and we were doing that on the morning of monday too with the cherries that jiacong's mother gave us which are super nice. because i told them that if you can tie a cherry stem with your mouth it means you're a good kisser, because that's what my sister told me and she can do it and i can't. haha. and vivian managed to do it, but anyway the woman in the show is way better than her. xD
after the show, we walked back to plaza sing and joelynn and i left. yeah. the end.
and i had training after that. i think the fencers are suffering from poor pre-competition luck. today, about 4 or 5 leads weren't working and 1 blade broke. .___.

i am supposed to be doing smp now but i am really sleepy even though i slept for 1.5 hours just now before dinner. after yesterday/today, i have added two new items to my hate list.
yes anyway! SEC-C SLEEPOVER YESTERDAY/TODAY. haha.(: at jiacong's house! which is damn o__0 nice. CHERYLLLLLLLNG MUST COME NEXT SUNDAY OKAYY(: we turned out quite productive after all! i think. when i got there tammy, vivian and jiacong were watching spiderman 2 and we lazed around watching random tv until everyone came then we went for black canyon coffee dinner (it was originally supposed to be mac's) which reminds me WE STILL HAVEN'T PAID JIA BACK LEH. she la want to treat us with her LUI!(money.) haha. and black canyon coffee marked the birth of the FLUMPS marissa and vivian haha whatever. xD
went to cold storage and bought pepsi then went back. and we were SUPPOSED to do work but got super distracted by the tv and by ourselves. xD we wasted time watching AQUAMARINE la. (for the less informed, it is the most retarded show ever about two girls and a mermaid so don't watch it.xD) and we were trying to do grouping at the same time because there were so many changes in attendance. k i bet nobody understood that sentence. nevermind. oh at 9pm we discovered the damn cool clock in jia's living room! it plays the same tune every hour accompanied by the numbers that move aside so you can see the sadistic-looking dolls behind them that move. and it's cleverly light-sensitive so when it's dark it won't play. haha. and at 1am we were so afraid that it would strike 13 times but it only did once.
yes anyway. after aquamarine finished we started being productive (finally!) and we finished up groupings and attendance (finally!) and settled program proceedings xD HEHEHE. and ran through logs list which took eons because we were trying to cut costs here and there to accommodate our budget which kept shrinking through the night because of low attendance la.): EEYER. so anyway. we were aiming to sleep by 3 but we missed our target by one and a half hours.
then charlene, bocky, marissa and i couldn't sleep / didn't feel like sleeping, so we spent most of the next half hour laughing. marissa was telling the story about how they rolled around in sleepings bags in the corridor and draped the fans with newspapers over everyone's heads during the 2nd night of psltc xD and charlene makes the strangest comments at night.
and for some reason marissa was very amused with aquacharlene haha. anyway we finallly got to sleep at about 515 when jiacong told us to. x) later in the morning we were up by 830 and we went to mac's for breakfast. and finished reworking our stupid projected cost. x) then bocky and charlene started concocting a mixture of jam and was it ice lemon tea? haha and hotcake bits and syrup. and i added dollops of margarine. and then i cleverly toppled the whole thing.--"

half the holidays are gone! whoosh. the second week is nearly over and what have i done? go to nus, come home, do aaaass em pee stuff, go to nus, come home, go for 'training' and discover that only 6 people are there and there are no coaches because of a miscommunication, slack around and poke a bit and skip a lot and go to waffletown and eat, and come home. yeah only 6 foilists were at training today! everyone else was either in wales / somewhere overseas / had something on / decided to pon because there were no coaches. hahaha SIGH! x) and i think the sec 4 fencers are damn funny can. adeline jerlyn gugu and zishan xD one is bent on learning how to do a cartwheel, one is bent on skipping 500 times before going home (but is laughing too hard to do it), another does both, and the last one just sits and laughs at them. haha we're all slackers man i bet next weekend's u17s is going to be another pig out session. xD

today in school grace zhang bumped into her and she grabbed us and made us look at the poetry PTs from the other classes. i think she thinks we haven't done anything for out PT or something because all she ever knows how to say is 'seeeee! they put in SO MUCH effort!' and 'seeeee! it's so NICE!' and 'i'm sure you can do as well! or better!' anyway some of them are really very chio like marissa's. haha and daveen's also. super detailed la! very intimidating.

oh, if you're wondering what grace and i were doing in school today, it was? Literature. together with denise who unfortunately had to leave at 1030 ): heh. we were quite productive actually we managed to design quite a few pages. then again, for a whole day's work from 830 to 530, it's not that much. but we're very proud of our work(: i love the computer lab, by the way. we spent nearly the whole day on the com lab floor.

sleptover at kim-anne's house! with rebecca hoe and abiho. haha eh all the HOs! x) oh look. together we're HOHOHOE with one TAN. x) anyway. after dinner and a bit of uno with her siblings x) we were supposed to have a movie marathon, but i ended up falling asleep during taxi. so after taxi we went to sleep at 12+. so loser x| and the next morning i had to wake up early early to go ushering. yuck make me wake up so early.
eh ushering was tiring. and during reception all the prefects and psls were standing around waiting for 11 so we could start eating. (we were told we could only start at 11 so we were looking enviously at all the other people) and after eating a few of us went to the psb room to sleep/etc. for 1+ hours? o__0 haha. and after dinner last night i wanted to catch a 10 minute shut-eye but ended up sleeping for an hour fifteen minutes until my mother woke me up to go eat fruits. HEH. :/ so i compensated for sleeping at 10 last night by waking up early to do lit pt. and till now i still haven't finished my commentary! but i've done the intro and bought uh. reflective paper x| HEHE. okay bye. i will finish it TONIGHT.

haha, remember the I-AM-BORED posts from last year? the ones i used to post during com studs with spastic kimberly-anne on my side? well they are BACK, except this time i'm not bored. i just can't bring myself to finish philo journal, i'm much too worn out from these past two weeks(: so! i will blog a little to get myself in a pensive mood for philo. x)
lihua and i are officially miss _____'s worst reform students for lit, which miss _____ openly proclaimed herself. she wants us to go back to school during june for, like, REFORM lessons. hm. i know i have plenty of time during the holidays and i totally love seeing her so i think i will set aside a few days for my favourite REFORM lessons, yes. miss ____ thinks my whole life revolves around nothing but lit and psb and she thinks that psb is dominating my whole life. like hello. 'jacqueline! you are full time lit student and part time psb student!' erhh. o__0 sure i would like to improve and i do actually have enough time to study, contrary to popular opinion of the teachers. unfortunately i can't seem to perform during exams, even though i spent my whole weekend burying myself in pygmalion quotes. anyway it is all rather amusing. lihua and i are cool lit students. xD
just when i'm beginning to understand miss sia's lessons for real, she has to leave! tomorrow's her last lesson): we ought to do something for her la! today she let us play game during math :D haha she joined us during physics too to help miss NONG teach. x) haha i think valencialong's a better physics teacher than ms ____! x)

oh dear my paragraphs are becoming one-liners. that is not encouraged in a LIT essay. everyone's lamenting about grades, is it not annoying? sure, my grades are dropping too, but what the hell. our lives revolve around attaining good grades. goodness me. anyway. academically, 315 and 316 are the most loser classes in the level and the teachers seem to hate us. seems like they've mostly given up on us. what can you expect, lowest class average for math and a huge number of failures for physics like ME! but i still love 315(: A LOT! we're like the damn cool loser class please. ah but we won 3rd for our door which was completed in two hours. xD i like 316 too! :D hahaha.

it pisses me off that our damned society is so grade-oriented, merit-oriented, and where does the enjoyment go in the meantime? what can two numbers and a decimal point say anyway? it's an utter distortion of our learning abilities. and anyway why does it take a freaking 80% to get a 4.0 gpa while it only takes 75% to get a 1.0 msg? there is really no freedom in schooling in this place. academics-wise. what the hell is wrong with everyone's mindset? and i am sad to say that i am guilty of having a grade-oriented mindset too, sometimes. it annoys the shit out of me. and i realise i swore a lot already please excuse me thanks (:

i haven't blogged for ages, SORRY! EOIs so far have been relatively okay except for lit, as usual i didn't understand the poem la. and i should have done pygmalion first because i had so much to write but i did the poem first and left too little time for pygmalion. thaw the super frozen mochi in hot water
not eat the rice (the two of them okay not me) so there'll be space for more sushi
squash the rice between our stacks of plates to hide it so there won't be any surcharge for wastage (THE TWO OF THEM KAY waste good japanese rice xD)
take the yellow plate of fried fish off the conveyer belt thinking that it's fish skin
realise that it's actually super smelly salmon
when the next plate comes along, take it off
put the remainder of our fish in
put the plate back on the conveyor belt
panic when the waitress who comes to clear the plates clears them in parts (and not the whole stack) and sees the squashed rice
not get charged for wastage. :D
