Well we finally finished the room! We had someone come and
install the carpet, we thought about doing it ourselves and then
thought better of it. We bought an electric fireplace from Home
Depot and put it between the bookcases that we built, a chimmeny and
the deer head and voila! a
family room. We still have a little molding to put up and we
could use a new couch but if I do say so myself, it looks good.
The kids love it! We hung the stockings on the fireplace and
opened them down there.` It was very "Christmasy".
I think this is my favorite part of the room.
