	Bittle Family Racing

A little about me

My name is Cheyenne Nicole Bittle.  I am 13 years old.  My birthday is March 16th, 1993.  I am going to be in 8th grade at Emge Middle School, my last year at the middle school and I will be moving up to Belleville West high school. I can't wait!  Math is my favorite subject.  Reading would be my least favorite.  My favorite thing to do is go RACING!  I have been racing for 6 years now.   I was'nt to sure about it at first , but I soon learned that I was hooked.  I sure was glad to move up to the 7.90 class this season.  I have traveled to many different tracks over the years and got to meet some really nice people.  I hope to continue to race Jr's until I move up to a big dragster.  When I'm not racing, I like to chat on my cell phone and hang on the internet, go roller skating, ride our 4 wheelers, shoot my bow, swim at my grandma and granddaddy's, go to our property on the river,and occasionally hang out with my  little brother Chase, our cousin Ryder and baby Gunner and SHOP SHOP SHOP!!.  I like to travel, my favorite place is  COZUMEL,MEXICO! That place is beautiful. I love to shop at my favorite store's Abercrombie and American Eagle.  My favorite food is steak, and cheese fries with bacon from Outback.  My favorite color is blue.  My favorite drag racer is TIM WILKERSON. He used to come to our local track and let his son's race, it's really cool and he's VERY nice!! My favorite Nascar driver is JIMMY JOHNSON!

 

Accomplishments

 

   I have managed to get several .000 lights. That means a PERFECT light.  That is very hard to do!  People that arent famaliar with racing don't understand we are talking 100'ths of a second.  My fastest pass has been 7.58 at 89.48 M.P.H.last year in Sikeston! I had the fastest Jr there! It was sooo COOL!Yes this is not legal to do but it's not an N.H.R.A. track so they don't play by the same rules! I have WON several races, runnered-up, and made it to the semi's many times.  This is a very tough sport to compete in but alot of fun.  I have also got to become friends with kids all around the United States, there's no other sport around like this!

 

 I've been fornuate enough to get to do alot of traveling as well. I was also featured in our local newspaper about my racing.  I was asked to bring my car to a S.A.V.E. site where they bring the races to the handicapped people, that can't come to the races. It was GREAT!  I got to meet ALOT of very nice people and I plan on doing it as much as they ask me. It was a great learing experience for me!!  I hope to add to this section this year.  Keep checking back.  Sure would like to become a member of the PERFECT RUN CLUB!!

As of July 7th I had the chance to do something I never thought would ever happen! Jim and Eric Payne from PURE POWER  let me race their OUTLAW JR.DRAGSTER! It was GREAT! They drove a long way to get to Gateway where they rented the track for me to test their jr for the day! Boy, was I ever nervous! I had never been in a jr that was so FAST! Everything is totally different from my jr! And I was gonna do this all off of a pro tree. After my first pass I was loving it. You only run these 330 feet and I reached my fastest speed of 4.40 seconds!! Folks, this is FLYING!!!! They were so nice to me and my family. They worked so hard all day, changing motors, trying this and that it was like a real pro team. They are very serious and it showed. I ended up taking third place in which I got a big trophy and $100. They let me keep all of that! I just wanted to add this to my site because not many kids get the chance to do something so cool! I know me and my family will never forget this. I hope to be able to drive this for them again someday.Mom has this all on tape and I have watched it like three times already. It was just really cool. Thanks again to Jim and Eric Payne from PURE POWER for giving me this chance to do something I had so much fun doing. I will never forget this, and hey... I have a cool story to take back to school with me to tell!
