Wow. Is Halloween really almost here? It doesn't feel like the year should be almost over, but it nearly is! I have a few announcements to make.
First of all, I'm doing my own version of National Novel Writing Month again, which is TechNoWriMo. With NaNoWriMo, the idea is to start a new novel from scratch and write 50,000 words. Personally, I think that's just plain silly. No writer can pull an idea out of thin air and they certainly can't wait all year to launch work on any brilliant idea they have! So, instead, for TechNoWriMo I write and post 50,000 words in thirty days. This works as incentive to get off my butt and finish things that have been lying around all year and only have a few sentences or paragraphs to 'em. I hope this will help up my annual wordcount, because, since I've been so busy this year moving, traveling and so on, I've been neglecting my writing.
Secondly, I'm working on a piece for a comic book charity anthology that will benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. It's very possible by this time next year, I'll be a published comic book writer. Keep your fingers crossed!

Finally, I'm now a working freelance writer for Suite101, writing articles and reviews for movies, books and comics. Mostly comics, let's be honest. Be sure to check it out!
