About Us

Bison Motion Pictures is an informal group of Southern Oregonians who collaborate to create feature-length motion pictures.  We are a mix of professionals, students and novices led by producer-director Ray Nomoto Robison.  BMP is currently in pre-production on our third feature having secured a distribution deal for our second, Sixes and the One Eyed King.  Our first feature, Die Before I Wake is available on DVD through Best Buy, Barnes & Noble and several other web retailers.  If you would like more information on these productions please select from the links above.

The Team

Ray Nomoto Robison (Producer/Director) has been a professional producer/director for 25 years.  He received his Bachelors degree in Film & Television Production in 1978 and has worked for affiliate TV stations in Oregon and Montana.

Brian Bearg (Sound Editor) a graduate of Full Sail Academy in Florida, Brian has worked on both of Bison Motion Pictures feature project.  He is a member of True Indie Films and is currently a video editor for Lithia Advertising in Medford, Oregon.

Rebecca Geear (Producer/Videographer) is Senior Video Editor for Lithia Advertising.  She is a graduate of Southern Oregon University's Video Production program and serves on the Board of Directors for the University's Alumni Committee and the Eagle Point Historical Society.

Patricia Snyder (Screenwriter/Script Supervisor) is a professional journalist for the Grants Pass Daily Courier.  She has written several screenplays including co-writing Sixes and the One Eyed King.  Patricia received her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Montana.

Chance Larsen (Production Designer/Videographer) graduated from the Music and Film program at the Seattle Institute of Art and is a certified producer for Rogue Valley Television.  Chance works as a freelance videographer and production assistant in Southern Oregon.

George Headley (Director of Photography) holds a Bachelor's degree in Video Production from Southern Oregon University and currently lives and works in Boston Massachusetts where he shoots public service announcements for national broadcast.

Behind The Scenes

Producer/Director Ray Nomoto Robison goes over the final scene of Sixes and the One Eyed King with Scott McEnroe and Nicole Strykowski.  The movie was shot almost entirely in Medford Oregon.
