The Badger Amateur Baseball Association will begin their 63rd season of play Sunday with games in the north, south-central, and west divisions.
Opening action on Sunday, May 4th will have Aniwa at Almon, Elderon at Wittenberg, and Birnamwood at Eland in the northern division; Waupaca at Plover, Lanark at Rosholt, and Scandinavia at New London in the south-central division; and Little Falls at Tilleda in the western division.
The rest of the western division teams and the eastern division will open on May 11.
Craig Brei of Tilleda is League Commissioner with Nate Krake of New London serving as Deputy Commissioner. Gordy Boldig remains as the league's secretary/treasurer.
Anthony Buss Jr. of Eland heads the northern division. Steve Conradt of Leopolis is east-west division president and Dave Peterson of Waupaca leads the south-central division.
Northern division teams include: Almon, Aniwa, Eland, Elderon, Hatley, Birnamwood, and Wittenberg.
South-Central division teams include: Waupaca, Plover, Lanark, Manawa, Scandinavia, New London, and newcomer Rosholt.
Western division teams include: Bowler, Caroline, Leopolis, Little Falls, Tigerton, and Tilleda.
Eastern division teams include: Clintonville, Gresham, Marion, Menominee, Neopit, and Shawano.
The schedule continues throughout the summer with the league's Grand Championship set for April 31.
