Syd is my first PH. I've wanted one for ages - no endless grooming, no worrying about twigs, etc in his coat, just pop on his rain coat and go for a walk anywhere, any time, any weather. Or that was the plan - Sydney doesn't do rain, he won't even get up in the morning if it's wet - hounds it seems are the same regardless of coat length!!! A happy, out-going dog he loves eating Afghan's ear-fringes, digging huge holes, tearing up cardboard boxes and having his back rubbed by my children.
He's had a great start to his show career winning Best Puppy at Crufts 2006, RCC at (May) SKC 2006 and is the PH Celtic Junior Winner 2006 - St Partick's Day Show. Syd and I are having a quiet year in 2007 but plan to be back in the ring, along with Suedden, next year.

Only shown a handful of times in 2007 he has picked up a R Best Dog (CH Show) and a R Green Star along the way - the only class he didn't win was Crufts where he was 2nd. Syd and I hope to be back about the PH rings with Suedden in 2008 when we look forward to renewing our friendships we have both made in Pharaohs - see you all next year!!!
