April 8, 2004 Hello friends! My touchup went very well. I'm really looking forward to the final results (of course, adding much more exercise to this recuperation period than the last!). Thanks to all my pals on the LipoSite Message Board for their constant support and friendship. What a great resource it is! I plan to take pictures as soon as I can see a difference between the "after" photos from my first surgery. For those new to my story: on April 29, 2003, I had 5,000 ccs removed from my hips and circumferential thighs via ultrasonic liposuction by Dr. Christine Sullivan in Columbus, Ohio, and another 2,500 ccs removed on the 7th of April, 2004. By no means am I skinny - I'm in a loose size 14, and I wear a 12 in my favorite Lee Relaxed Riders. However, my self-esteem has taken a quantum leap, and I now have the motivation and desire to keep going until I've reached my goal... whatever that is. To those of you who are entertaining the possibility of liposuction - do your homework, save your money, and go for it! And for those in the beginning stages of recovery from lipo, be encouraged today - you have wonderful things ahead!!
