Things are starting to change...for the better. With taking september off from playing live we have been able to work on a few new ones. Medusa is done and has already been played live, its a song about one of the three gorgons. Black Woods is just about done...at least the music is. It is about Merkwood...indirectly...its really about the feelings one would have traveling through the Black Woods. Another song that is in the workings has the title of Hemicuda, its about a bad ass car and how fast we like to drive. We also have been working on a insturmental that is untitled as of now. We have talked about doing a short speed punk song about skate boarding.

Our future recording will start in Januray. As I hinted in the last news update we will be doing a preproduction. This will help us get the results we want out of the recording. I hope that we will record all of our songs during preproduction and then we will choose what songs will make it to the final product. All of us are really excited to get this done but we must take the time...so I cant promise when CD will be released.

We are ready to start playing shows again...but not too often. Weekends are practice time and shows cut into that. We so enjoy playing live but we also need the time to create. We have been working in small groups, we when all cant get together, and that seems to help with getting the songs ready for a live show. I guess what Im saying is that we are going to play live once a month and that the new songs are coming quite rapidly.

As you can see I have decided to revise the site. Im really having fun putting together the shows page...its not qite done but click on a moon. The "hear us" page will take you to our myspace page...please vist and make a comment. The "Watch us" page will have some live pics and hopefully a live song or two. The "Know Us" page is like our bio. And of course The"Live Performances" page will let you know of future shows and past shows.

Now for some band news. We are taking a break from doing live shows, so that we can get more practice in. Our goal is to write a few more songs and then record a full length. This summer was hard on us because we were unable to practice, at all, for one reason or another, but we had plenty of shows. So we are practiced up for a live show but we havent had time to write. Like I was saying, once we get writing again it shouldnt be long before we are ready to record. And yes, we will be recording at Noise Gate again...Mike has been very good to us and he's anxious to do it right this time. Not that he didnt do it right last time...it's really just a scratch track. We recorded all the songs in a live setting even with Justin doing vocals...(The only overdubs are the secondary vocals done by Terry and myself and, a solo because Justin punched Eric's headstock and totaly knocked him out of tune.) We did spend time playing with it and adding effects...but its really just a live track. This next one we plan on spending alot more time on it...
