Birmingham County FA v Scottish Junior FA (an annual
fixture billed in
Scotland as the Junior International -
Scotland v England)
for the fixture in
Glasgow on 3 April 1897 includes F (Frank) Garratty (Lozells) at
centre forward and W (Billy) Garratty (Lozells) at outside left.
These were huge events in
Scotland where crowds numbered up to 30,000.
The games in the
West Midlands rarely attracted more than a couple of thousand.
