Behind The Head Shot: Billy Currington

New country artist Billy Currington hit the scene with an intense autobiographical ballad, Walk A Little Straighter, about his alcoholic father. Since then, he has proven he's not afraid to make a music video with a hot lady. The video for his second single, I Got A Feelin', featured ex-Baywatch babe Gena Lee Nolin, and he now appears in seemingly endless repetition on CMT in Shania Twain's Party for Two. When he's not making videos, you might find Currington eating crunchy peanut butter in his underwear.

Five deserted-island discs

1. Greatest Hits, Keith Whitley. Keith's voice and delivery were truly one of a kind. This collection is a perfect place to start recognizing that.

2. Motown, Michael McDonald. These are some of my favorite songs of all time, and Michael's soulfulness really captures the best parts of the songs. Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing is a great song. I just love it.

3. Stardust, Willie Nelson. It brings back good memories of sitting around listening to this record with my dad.

4. Strait Out of the Box boxed set, George Strait. I've been a fan of his for a long time, and this set has a lot of songs that weren't singles and it's got all the old stuff and a lot of songs you'd hear on the radio, so it's a good one to have.

5. Pyromania, Def Leppard. Mutt Lange is one of my favorite producers, and this is the record I listened to when I was first getting into my teenage years. We'd crank this one up riding around the square on Friday nights. This record's the one that made my friends and me get a little crazy.

Five things I can't live without

1. Crunchy peanut butter. It's got to be crunchy. You've got to have this in your kitchen to survive.

2. Underwear. Doesn't matter what brand or what kind, as long as it does what it's supposed to.

3. A truck. I don't care about many specifics, but it has to be four-wheel drive. What would I do without my truck?

4. Fishing pole. I've been fishing since I was really little, and it keeps me focused.

5. My management. These days, I have no idea how I'd get along without someone telling me what to do and where to be and all that.

The three sexiest people alive

1. Sandra Bullock.

2. Sheryl Crow.

3. Kelly Davis in Fort Worth! (You don't know her.)

Billy Currington- He is a real man. He is so passionate and talented at what he does. I give him a great deal of respect for it! I am glad he enjoys and loves what he does! I am so proud of him and his accomplishments he has made in his life. From starting out with nothing to become something big. He is just the real man and deserves everything he has worked for and much more in my opinion.
