Just Want All You Bikers Passing Through To Know That

YOU"RE #1 WITH ME
I call Him Bro
By: Bob Bryant
He has a biker heart
He has a gypsy soul
You can always find him
On the highway, where he rolls
He has a beautiful lady
He has an awesome bike
He stands for what he believes in
He’s not afraid to fight
He wears a cross for Jesus
Tattooed on his arm
He says, He gave his life for me
I believe, and that’s not wrong
He’s one righteous biker
This is a fact I know
You wonder how I know this
Well, because I call him Bro’

Her Soul
By: Bob Bryant
The beast that sits before him
The steed that bares his weight to ride
The quick start when beckoned upon to awaken
Do not doubt her being
Do not question the heart of the lady
The gorgeous creature pampered by the love of a man
The lady that shines in the sun
The lady that sits idly by awaiting the touch that fills her with life
Do not for one second falsify her being
Never underestimate the hold she has on her man
Never deny that you can see the love between them
Nor doubt he fulfills her every need
Or her, his
Do not disrespect her heart
You need only look at the two of them together
Look at his eyes as he looks at her
See the pride and love he holds for her in his heart
No, do not doubt her being, nor her heart
Nor the soul he has created within his bike

I HAVE SEEN
By: Bob Bryant
I have seen passions fire looking into mine from hers
I have seen her look at her newborn child with love
I have seen her long hair blowing in the wind
I have seen good things in life
I have seen fog blow away to show the mountain side
I have seen streams flowing freely over the rocks
I have seen the trees freely blowing
I have seen the newness of a frosty morn’
I have seen the good things in life
I have seen her smiling through the mirror as we ride
I have seen life from the saddle of an iron horse
I have seen freedom through eyes that are mine
I have seen the full moon while riding a country road
I have seen the good things in life
I have seen a brother smile as he rides the wind
I have seen bikers come together for a cause
I have seen a lone leather clad biker on a winter day
I have seen spring bring many riding seasons
I have seen the good things in life
…………………………………………………
Let me re-phrase
I have seen “ The Best “ things in life

Have You?
By : Bob Bryant
Have you ever heard the thunder
Of straight pipes late at night
Have you ever seen the highway
Illuminated by one headlight
Have you ever felt the rain
Putting a sting upon your skin
Have you ever had a true brother
That wasn’t your average friend
Have you ever twisted the throttle
Because the road it laid out straight
Have you ever done crazy stuff
Some call it tempting fate
Have you ever felt the feeling
Of the wind against your face
Have you ever just gone riding
Not heading anyplace
Have you ever loved a woman
On the ground, underneath the stars
Have you ever grabbed cold iron
While looking through the bars
Have you ever stopped to wonder
What makes your soul so free
Have you ever just pulled over
To admire the sights you see
Have you ever been arrested
Because of who you are
Have you ever waved to children
As they pass by in a car
Have you worn your weathered leather
For protection, not just looks
Have you torn down your ol’ Bike
Without looking at the books
Have you caught the look of the ladies
As you go riding by
Have you noticed how their husbands
Look out the corner of their eyes
Have you ever took off all alone
To keep in touch with your soul
Have you ever done that, to remember
Freedom, not money is your goal
If any of what you just read
Brings back memories, good or bad
Then you can pretty much bet your ass
A Bikers life you’ve had

Onto The Highway
By : Bob Bryant
As he headed out onto the highway
Sun shining brightly off his bike
His plan was to travel many miles
Before he shut her down that night
He’d had enough of the hassles
Of obeying the rules of man
He decided to leave it all behind
Take his bike and travel the land
He knew his bike was ready
His clothes were packed on the back
He had jeans and Tee shirts
Every one of them orange and black
They had been packed away in the attic
For the years that he’d been down
He put them away years ago
Sold his bike and tried settling down
It turned out to be a life that he hated
Doing the 9 to 5 every day
After about 5 years of this crap
Knew it was time to get away
Bought himself a brand new Harley
Had been eyeing it for awhile
Dug his clothes from the attic
Was ready again to travel the miles
As he headed out onto the highway
Sun shining brightly off his bike
His plan was to travel many miles
Before he shut her down that night

PONDERING?
The night as black as unworn leather
The pipes humming like Angels singing
He rode looking for an answer from above
His thoughts as heavy as the humid night air
Searching for an answer to sooth his soul
The question that had him pondering life
Was how could a man his age feel so old
He wondered:
Could it have been all the partying?
Could hard work have diminished his years?
Could it be the fights that put aches in his bones?
Could it have been living free of fear?
Could it be the nights of sleeping on the ground?
Could it be the downtime that he served?
Could it have come from trying to please everyone?
This included the family he loved
Could it be the nights the wind chilled to his bones?
Could it be the limp from a road rash scar?
Could it just be the gray starting to change his long hair?
Could it simply be life’s hassles from destiny’s star?
A cool breeze hit him as he rode through the bottom
He smiled at the relief from the dense heat
The answer was as clear as the moon above
No matter the age, being a BIKER is hard to beat

Mutual Respect
By: Bob Bryant
Dew on the seats worn leather
The only thought on his mind
I hope rising temperatures are within the weather
He shakes the thoughts of the cold
From his bandana bound head
He fires the bike to warm her up
As he wipes the cold dew from the sled
The thundering thump beckons to him
“I’m ready to hit the road”
He smiles as he wipes the last of the dew
Tells her “ I know you don’t mind the cold”
“But have some sympathy for your rider”
“For my years are Forty and Three”
“The sting of the cold is not as hard”
“On you as it is on me”
“But you just remember this old friend”
“He tells her as he climbs on her back”
“If you show attitude towards me”
“I’ll ride you without cutting you slack”
She seems to laugh from her hearty thump
As the two of them hit the street
For she knows from within her lubricated heart
A tougher ol’ biker you’ll never meet

RESTLESS SPIRIT
By: Bob Bryant
He loves the feeling of the ride
As he races against the wind
He feels it from deep within
He doesn’t care what another man thinks
Could give a damn about the stares
He knows he bares a “Restless Spirit”
Thus the tattoos and long hair
He never did quite fit in
Even as a child he stood alone
He knows he bares a “Restless Spirit”
That’s why he answers the call to roam
He knows he draws the attention of the ladies
He’s watched many walk away
He knows he bares a “Restless Spirit”
They couldn’t handle it enough to stay
He asks nothing from other men
He handles business his on way
He knows he bares a “Restless Spirit”
As if a Lone Wolf gone Astray
His loneliness never slows him
Knows he is destined to stand outside
He knows he bares a “Restless Spirit”
It shows in his Biker Pride
He’s never been able to tame his soul
Says a mans soul must remain free
He knows he bares a “Restless Spirit”
Puts it out there for the world to see
He loves the feeling of the ride
As he races against the wind
He knows he bares a “Restless Spirit”
He feels it from deep within
