Volunteering for fundraising is as diverse as the many roles it takes to produce a performance. Participants can be involved as much or as little as they like - helping for one night during a show by selling flowers and concessions or by working throughout the theatre season to help gather donations for a silent auction. If you are interested in helping out in on of these areas, simply contact the appropriate coordinator and they will tell you how you can get involved.
In 2007-8 we are hoping to create a fundraising subcommittee to help manage and organize all the events and bring new ideas to the table. With school budget cuts, fundraising will be as important as ever and we can use all the help we can get. We are also always open to new ideas that bring much needed financial support to the theatre guild. While we try to select fundraisers that do not overly tax the limited time and resources of our performers, we are always interested in hearing fresh ideas.
