Goal of the BHMCC

General Meetings are regularly held at 11 am on the 3rd Sunday of each month at the Llanelly Hall, Llanelly, 4 kms from Newbridge.The Bendigo Historic Motorcycle Club aims to assist in the promotion of interest in the restoration, preservation, and use of veteran, vintage, post vintage, and other historical motorcycles. Men and women with an interest in historical motorcycling are invited to join the club.

General Meetings are regularly held at 11 am on the 3rd Sunday of each month at the Llanelly Hall, Llanelly, 4 kms from Newbridge. The meetings are held from 11am and visitors are welcome. A monthly newsletter, the "Good Oil", is sent to all financial members of the club to keep them informed about current and future activities of the club.

To encourage the use of historical motorcycles, the club participates in the Club Permit Scheme (Red Plate), and regular club runs and other social activities are held where club permit vehicles may be used. To promote the wider use and enjoyment of historical motorcycles, the club holds a weekend rally in the Bendigo area during October each year - the Sandhurst Country Rally. Annual subscription to the club is currently $40 which is due on the 1st of July each year. New members are charged a joining fee of $20in addition to their first subscription fee. Application forms are available from the Secretary, or from this site.

Membership Policy

Membership of the BHMCC requires that individuals participate in club events/functions in a frequency of not less than once per three months. Before membership is extended to individuals, it is expected that the applicant will attend a club meeting to meet with members, and seek nomination.

A Club Permit will be issued for a machine only after the BHMCC Red Plate Officer has made a safety inspection.
